It's rough.

Some textures do really look bad and it takes out of the experience. Even with the majority of textures beeing very low quality and overall the environments looking rather empty, we still get the loading stutters of Unreal Engine somehow.

The controlls are good, with the one downside of not beeing able to adjust the angle your character is holding a gun ingame. It feels really odd with the Index Controllers. Also i still don't know how to bring up the menu.

I wish i could leave a positive review.

My main negative points are:

The editor is rather "janky" at times. Sometimes you softlock yourself and have to restart the whole game, sometimes you need to leave the garage and go back in to be able to move a part or something. The adaptable fuselage in symmetry mode just sometimes doesn't work in the symmetrized one. And many more small icks. Sometimes the plane just disintegrates after changing a small thing and then is completely stable after reattaching any part.

The performance is pretty bad. I have a strong rig and even with everything set to the lowest settings i only get about 80 - 100 fps depending on the diretion im facing.

The controls outside of the editor are a bit finnicky and weird to use. Maybe after a bit of play they make more sense to me.

The part variety is a bit bleak. You cant really mix and match different fuselage types efficiently because they're vastly different sizes and it mostly looks out of place (in my opinion atleast).

You currently have one map and i think 7 premade challenges of which 4 are available in multiplayer. The challenges are alright but rather small all in all. Atleast there is an editor where you can create your own ones, though a bit cumbersome.
I wish there was more to do with friends besides fighting

Hopefully they add more content, more premade challenges and more parts to play around with, then i will change my review. The foundation is solid but it (to me) doesn't feel like a game out of early access just yet.


Big plus is already having a multiplayer. Thats amazing.
Also when building a vehicle, they tend to be really stable and satisfying to use. No wobble or anything even with parts that can break off.

The gore is pretty advanced but everything else feels rather dated. The menus and the weapon interactions all feel like the first tries in vr rather than a modern product.

Early Access Review
I don't think i can safely recommend the game in it's current state.

There are many issues:

1. The height calibration isn't doing anything, the game just sets every player to 2m in height. That just feels really weird as you're constantly floating

2. The body and interaction with the environment seem a little archaic. The body often snaps or rotates weirdly and you can't grab something off a table without beeing pushed back, presumably because the collider is just beneath the camera origin. (You can force grab, so its still possible, but just naturally picking something up is really akward)

3. The coop is currently limited to 2 players, while i understand why, i still wish to play with more friends.

4. My whole GPU or its driver crashed during a normal interaction, which i found odd. Also there isn't currently DLSS, Famegen or FSR implemented. The performance is overall rather wonky. (Atleast the game looks great)

When those points get adressed later in development, i will change my review, but 38€ is too steep of a price.

Two main gripes.
I think its a missed opportunity that the drug making is basically just a ui that shows how much time has passed and then packaging it. It feels a little too simplistic for a game that proclaims itself as simulator.

My other gripe is that for a game that is mainly about traveling in the end, the walking and climbing mechanics are waaay to wonky. The camera snaps when vaulting for example and the camera clips inside the characterbody when looking down.

I wish a simulator of that kind would be a bit more indepth instead of just navigating UI.

I haven't fully played through it but so far its a bit of a letdown.
The scenery and exploration is what shines most, and the new items and weapons i dropped were fun and refreshing.
Also the cosmetics are a step up from the basegame in my opinion.

I really dislike most of the fights since they don't strike the fince balance between challenging and fun. They feel mostly just difficult for the sake of beeing difficult, which isn't what im used to from other titles. Super long combos with weirdly timed attacks and unflichable enemies doesn't feel good. Combined with the high health and super short times in which the player can act, fights just don't feel enjoyable to me.

I have litteraly 0 critique or things that beeing changed would make me have more fun.

Its a great concept executed well and a fresh spin on the stale survival craft genre.
