It's decent but not 8€ worth considering competitors who do it technically better but different but the very least they have a huge modding community making it a little bit better. Realistically it will just have the same update schedule like lethal company whichs begs you for more.

I do like this game as it's per se more interesting but once you close the gate there is no threat anymore so you could technically push to the end your cart.

So far it's a decent game it's fun to play AND CAN BE CHALLENGING the most important aspect for me! As we play on veteran as 3 people and it isn't really THAT EASY GOING and can't wait to try angels of deaths difficulty / the other one they will release.

I realy love the aesthetics of this world the detail put into it I really recommend to check my screenshots where wallpaper worthy backgrounds are there.

So far the story is alrighty nothing to catchy it just happens meanwhile your playing. Which is alright it makes sense and the Voice acting is good except the vox com with the first officer is kinda whacky sound wise.

Overall a extreme good WH40k Game compared to other games. The gameplay feels good maybe not better than darktide but satisfying in their own terms.

I will edit this comment the more I play trough / touch multiplayer.

Had no hardware issues / problems!

THE ONLY HUGE downside is the NEED to LOAD into the game THEN SELECT THE MODE YOU WANT TO PLAY MAKES THIS VIA THE MAIN MENU TO SAVE ME ( a short cause of ssd) loading time!

EDIT: I checked the multiplayer cosmetics and CHAOS hardly has any custominization choice, compared to the space marines. Which made me really sad as the visul monogod characters are tied to a class instead of your choosing. Hopefully they change that in the future with actual custominization.

So far one of my favourite RPGs reminds me of the golden times of fallout where choices matters which you choose in dialog. Obviously I am talking about new vegas! 🤣 Bethesda made the god awfull decision to have a voiced proganist.

People might dislike the partial voiced dialogues but I prefer those as they give the much needed restriction free answers/ decisions to the player. Unlike fallout 4 where you can say yes in 3 different options as sarcastic for example and the 4th being a no.

What aches me the most is the terrible rng mechanic of rogue trader i truly dislike having a chance of attack instead of a guaranteed hit with crit bonus.

Chaos Gate daemonhunters combat system is so much better cause of it. It doesn't make you reload a safe cause you missed that shot which changes the dynamics dramatically.

I am playing on very hard (as in standard game language as everygame has their own name for it) in the early game i felt quiete underdog mainly the reason being some combat positions are so terrible designed that it is just better to retreat to cover 15 cells away instead of fighting them. As the ai just mindlessly always try to close the distance. (Excemption being snipers so far).

One of the most disgusting offenders is the first boss in chapter one. *Spoiler* the space marine starting fight sequence is so horrendous that by sheer luck and spreading my soldiers out. They survived the first attack of the enemy. (I reloaded the save 20x and hope that spray attack doesn't wipe more than 1 guy)

This could have been easily fixed by giving the player ALWAYS the first initiative in combat. You get later in the game more often the first initiative via skills i suppose? Not sure which one influence the round order but my navigator and sister of battle always starts before everyone else.

But when this happens you see even more flaws regarding the balancing as in most games like these getting as much action points economy is the best way to play this game.

If you kill the enemy before their turn that's more worth than anything else.

Overall this game is great in terms of rpg aspect and the reason why I love it. I am merely at chapter 2 but I have enjoyed my ride so far and will see what the future holds.

I will edit the comment once I completed the base game.

But i have to say for 30€ at the steam summer sale i got my money's worth. Remind you guys i experienced here and there bugs which one could claim to be game breaking as attacks not being made cause of weird interactions. Perhaps many more where some talents might not work.

But the talent tree is so full i am slowly getting better at using it to the right extend.

Edit: I felt like chapter 1-2 were the most fleshed out and 3-5 were more medicore with hardly any meat. I didn't particulary fond chapter 3 cause of the weird design choices. You have to make sure to check every corner and be carefull about the quest items. You can lose them via dialog WITHOUT getting the benefit if you as me click sometimes trough the same dialog options. This will restrict your ability to get stuff / remove buffs to your companions which will greatly hinder you companion capacity.

Chapter 3 is the worst in terms of level design. Including the gameplay consequence of the player. Removing my gear and my companions for me to go for a fetch hunt is tedious. Let alone I never got my boots back... Cause i didn't talk to a "ugly beggar" it was a side quest which I didn't notice as I was exhausted of that chapter after having to reload to my other save which was 2 h wasted cause of bad designs.

If you take my stuff / put debuff give me everything back without a fetch hunt and THE POSSIBILITY TO MISS OUT ON MY STUFF/ MY OLD stats. The Space Marine is also kind of tricky. I tried to talk to him but the inspect bubble was right on top of the space marine. Therefore I felt like I can't yet talk to him.

Chapter 4-5 feel rushed. At least the end sliding is a nice touch. Even tho it is not narrated which is a sad thing as I always loved to hear in fallout to hear the narrative talk about my doings. This happens in between chapters where you have a narrator.

Tedious world colony managment. You need certain buildings at XYZ world to build on this world. You have to check all worlds to see who has that building so you can get the right build order. Any game with buildings offer a chain of buildings which make it more initutive to realize what is needed.

Overall it's a good game but it started to feel tedious after chapter 2. The companions unique quests don't feel good. They don't have a payoff after fullfilling them. Unless you count the end slide. The issue is the time where you finished their quest line you just want to get to the end.

The main antoginist hardly appears till chapter 2 in between 2-3 you hear nothing of him no consequence nothing. Therefore when you meet him again your like ah you exist?!

I'd say it's a good game but not a perfect one. I enjoyed the choices I did all side quests explored all planets. And plan to start a new playtrough sooner or later. As either a heretic or Dogmatic (this time commited) my last run was a balanced iconoclast run (100 dogmatic and 108 heresy and 208 iconoclast) I realized that gettings this later of the stage of the game is kind of a bad thing.

As you can hardly appreciate the new ship design. Overall all fancy toys / lvl's appear at chapter 4-5 I got to use my power armour for 30h while the sororitas only for 3h.

Dlc story continuation may fix that as both dlcs together promise 15h of gameplay but that could mean anything. 15h of gameplay of a bad story or bugs.

Also the worst design is the fact I have to press a button to load into that area. Annoying.

Sidenote I got a good ending the "utopia" one with the *abomination* achievement which only 8.6 players have.

The irony that corpo talk they posted today is under the illusion of "democracy" and protecting the super earth bla bla.

Refund the game as it has never been stated in particulary that you require a PSN account. The difference is a tiny side information that this is third party service required can't be legally okay. Considering it has worked without it and you can't now enforce it with such "hidden" way of it was never meant to be always without psn account. If there was a daily popup when you started the game every time it be excuseable.

Mixed with the awfull broken bugs they never fixed and introduce new ones each patch. A mediocre game turned to worse with this action. Still wondering why people praise this 2 a game as a better than today's tripple A. It is just more rich with stream lined content as they didnt release it to early content wise but it is just as janky as any bethesda game on release and many years after!

EDIT They announced today that PSN is no longer required that's great but the game is still riddled with game breaking bugs so if you want a bug free experience wait it out for another 6 months till they fixed most broken support weapons (some still after 2 months hardly work as they intended)

Pain and suffering are for the weak!

Truly a fun game and one of my first "xcom" kind of games. Had to restart my first campaign (played on the second hardest difficulty with dlc enemy units turned on) and it is a steep learning curve, most likely as seen with those negativ reviews.

If you truly want a challenge do it! I liked the story a lot but one complaint is that some missions can get boring as I despise the bloomspawn missions as they require to run around to all corners of the map to finish it.

But it's all managable and try it out :)

It's a yes if you like colony sims BUT it is basically a automatic colony once you got everything important build (cold cellar) enough farms a decent highground to archer spam.

Then it is just wait till you got XYZ materials then converted into XYZ refined materials and then have your settlers build your construction the WORST way so they basically are stuck in place cause they build the wall around them or are now on the roof for some reason. (this means you have to build a ladder or their going to be stuck there.

It's ok in the future maybe other issues is if you have more than 8 settlers you realize the fps drops high end gaming pc can't run this horrible optimized game (30fps when I get raided by 12 barbarians and having my 8 settlers is to much for this game)

Building castles etc is cool but YOU don't need to build ANYTHING resembling a building just slap some workbench cellar and your done. Wished you could ACTUALLY make your own Buildings with the NECESSARY tools on the building. Like a actual blacksmith / Windmill / Fishing station. Oh the water mechanic is so absurd and buggy don't even bother to play with it it ruins everything.

Core issue at hand slow gameplay and essentially just being a waiting sim where everything works automatic in a bad way (No sense of real progression) Once I have food good defence I am like why bother continuing. It is lacking mid / late game potential. Essentially the reason also being the ABSURD small population you have (cause the game can't run more)

Map generation is ♥♥♥♥ and you will waste a lot of time getting a good one hillplains are just as flat as my breasts! You can edit it in the files to have more horizontal areas which is a way better experience.

Yeah buy it if you want but don't expect a sense of progression past 30 ingame days. This is the point where you just build a nice city (which takes ages and with a lot of micro managment cause npcs build it in a weird way resulting them into being stuck)

Sidenot I played it on the Raiding Mode (where apparently more raids should happen it seems not to be the case) 1 difficulty up.

I now also build a lovely castle with farms in my 12h playtrough which is nice for once but now I am at the why bother even more moment no need to craft better items cause archer spam let alone expand. I just wanted to build once a proper castle and I did it. Most likely I will not touch this game after next week for years but it was a fun waiting sim / builder for 32h)

played 2h ingame but hey the devstream seems to work cause they apparently don't have server issue I WONDER WHY. Can be fun if you get to play it and not spend an hour in the matchmaking and playing on discord games which works.

Bad game on day 1 even worse now with tencent magic doing microtransaction.

Story is poop boss fight is the worst designe I haven seen.... You have to fight him 3x at the end of the game.

Huge letdown compared to DL1 on release nights we're nothing compared to dl1 they patched some things. But the game got shipped unrealeased cashgrab. A great dev can fall nowadays so easily dl1 is the only experience you need in this universum.

EDIT: Cause the glorious devs responded there's a definition of MTX
"Microtransactions (mtx) refers to a business model where users can purchase in-game virtual goods with micropayments. " oh so idk man go to tencent and do more tencent propaganda.

Also your very own words in this post screenshot
https://www.reddit.com/r/dyinglight/comments/15tol8h/here_we_go_guys_microtransactions/

"What are DL Points? DL Points is the in-game currency that allows you to buy skin bundles in Dying Light 2 at a better price and without leaving the game. It will be avaialble to purchase for real money on first party stores through our in-game store.

The game wasn't finished on releas just cause you finish your product after 2 years of patching doesn't mean my opinion changed. The studio is dead.
