we've been rotting since jungle inferno; the playercount is inflated up to 90% by fake accounts idling for items, no functional anti-cheat for open source ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clones let alone human cheaters, 30 minutes can be spent easily just trying to find a server that isnt plagued by bots, and failing. Valve is still profiting off of this game, hell many of the bot accounts spent enough money to gain access to voice specifically so they can spam "music" which is either valve incentivizing bot hosters to acquire hacked accounts or valve deliberately taking their money to make their cheating bot accounts function like they want to. a small handful of community server hosters are keeping certain regions alive. these community figures are the life support to this game. if skial, UGC or uncletopia went down this game would lose thousands of players each.
