Get used to seeing this.

Don't even bother grabbing this $60 game until Ubisoft fixes their server issues, if they ever.

This games potential is massive and it holds many promises, but it still needs to be worked on greatly.

Servers could expand to have a larger player base. Enemies could be worked on with their animations, Leantoo can be actually USEFUL. A way to block attacks or the adding of shields could do wonders. Taking hits like a sack of meat can only last so long, especially with new players who literally start out with a T-shirt.

Option menu works well and is filled with some decent things, such as resolution options and antialiasing, but unless you got a pretty good computer, get ready for a bumpy train ride to lag-ville.

You will have to use that resolution slider and other graphic options just to run the thing without major lag. Which will then make you miss out on the textures of this game, which at the highest resolutions are actually pretty good.

Shame you might not get to enjoy them.

Like I said, this game CAN be good if you got friends to play it with, and can handle the technical issues of a game that's still in early access. Other than that I'd say to past this till future updates, or at least be me and refund it after screwing around with the tutorial a bit. (Which I have to say is pretty nice to add).

Probably by far one of my favorite RTS's to this date, and it came out around 2004.

The space battles are incredible. You actually have to think about the maneuvers of your ships as well as their strengths and weaknesses.

Land battles are some times lacking, the AI is pretty smart in this game so watch out, they will rush you.

The only thing that I dislike about the game is that some times, escpecially the Rebels (Scum that they are), the AI will research to the point they get that one good unit, and spam it to high hell. Get used to seeing mutiples of the same unit in armies towards the end game.

Been playing with Zann's boys mostly, favorite faction to date. (MANDALORIANS!) Their bonus, as well as the bonus added into the expansion pack, are perfect.

And if you love star wars, you WILL love this. I guarantee it.
