A fantastic step up from the previous games. The base game play is fluid and fast paced.
Annoying gameplay mechanics like the stamina bar and limited reversals have been removed. A new combo system is implemented which takes some getting used to but ultimately plays well.

Most of the roster also looks exceptional.

Exhibition Mode and Universe Mode are solid.

Showcase mode lets you play through the career of Rey Mysterio.

GM Mode is a bit basic (not a lot of depth to it but at it's core it's fun)

MyRise is pretty fun. You can choose your background and also have multiple opportunities to turn babyface/feel. There aren't as many cut scenes as previous years though. a lot of the story telling happens backstage on text or "social media" (which is actually done quite well. For example Randy Orton "tweets" like how you would expect him to). But otherwise, it's pretty fun to play.

myFaction mode has micro-transactions but you can only play it offline...it doesn't make much sense.

Overall a good purchase for WWE Fans. You can play through myRise multiple times with different backgrounds (also different story-lines for male and female wrestlers). Additionally with Community creations being cross-platform, there are a ton of fun match-ups you can have in exhibition once you are done playing through myRise and Showcase mode.

Core Gameplay is an absolute blast and is extremely addicting!
The progression system, challenges, and cosmetic microtransactions needs some fine tuning though but I'm confident that with the community feedback we will be seeing that very soon.

Solid Polished game with a range of difficulty so anyone can pick up and play!

As someone who has traveled to Hong Kong on various occasions, I can say that the game remains very faithful to the real city.

Overall a great joy to play.

Honestly feels painfully repetitive and generic.
I was a fan of WWE All-Stars but I feel like Battlegrounds barely scratches the surface when it comes to the same sort of Gameplay.

It feels quite lackluster and leaves a lot to be desired.

You can see 343 are taking good care in making sure the game releases to PC as polished as possible. Reach has been a blast to play. Cant wait for CE, 2,3, and 4 as well !
