The game is fun, but a bit tedious. It throws a lot at your very quickly as far as things to look for and different objectives, but its a fun chill game.

Loaded into my session to learn the ropes with a friend. Completed the training mission with relative ease (this is my first payday game), but it was enjoyable. Then we me and my friend tried to queue the game, we could never get a session. We tried private, and open lobbies with no success. Coming up on the 2 hour mark for Steam we both decided to refund. May wait until the bugs are out, but for my first payday experience, it was a bust.

The game started off good, but now they are just copying mechanics from other games. Its been in "early access" for three years and they are constantly restricting how much you can store and carry, while changing mechanics that require you keep more items on you. Like how the heck are you supposed to manage space when you are requiring more equipment to maintain your guns, then actively taking away more storage. I miss the old Deadside that promised vehicles, not adding stupid RNG mechanics that cost you time and gear. 1/1/2024 EDIT: Deadside has released Early Access update 0.10.1 (STILL IN EARLY ACCESS). I truly believe that the devs are hiding behind the early access mantle to keep from adding actual meaningful content. The game has been out for years, and is now copying things from games that came out later than it (Tarkov).

Caught this game on sale after some friends picked it up, and have had a hard time putting it down. I've played other games on this engine and the open world looks amazing. Some of the game play can be clunky, but you get used to it (switching weapons can be slow and require multiple presses of the key to register). Great game though, and the concept is pretty cool. Highly recommend!

THIS GAME CRASHES TOO MUCH! 8700k GTX 1080, M.2 NAND. I crash at the worst times. I have zero issues with any of my 50+ games. I wasted my money, don't waste yours.

Takes a while to get used to after playing 1.6 for so long. I was not a fan of CS:S, but after a while the conveniences of CS:GO make it nice. The global skins were a nice addition, However taking away the ability to spray tags really stinks. I still find myself hitting the T after killing my victims...

UPDATE 12/29/2018: Since the game has gone Free to play, hackers have gotten 100x's worse. It is no longer enjoyable. Prime vs. Non-Prime is a joke, and any real player will quit LONG before they could ever make it due to the shear frustration of every hacker encounter. They have turned a game I have played since 2002 into garbage and killed any joy it used to give. More and More Pro's are getting caught and it seems there is nothing being done about it. I'm witnessing the killing of a beloved game, and its beyond sad.
