I have been a fan of Total War since the release of Shogun 1 back in 2000 !

I have bought almost every TW game since... (not Attila, I was too salty about my collector edition preorder of Rome 2 and the release state of that game)

Total War Warhammer and esp. Warhammer 2 were absolutely great additions to the franchise. Expanding campaign and battle mechanics in very interesting and fun ways. And while the total cost of the DLCs may seem high, I bought all of them on release and had fun with each and every one of them, and I felt I had my money's worth out of them.

Warhammer 3's release wasn't fantastic, while very playable, some design choices made the campaign... not very fun... But the release of Immortal Empires (the combined map of all 3 games), the champions of chaos and chaos dwarfs DLCs were steps in the right direction. Even if they upped the price, I was ok with it because they had a good amount of content.

But I haven't bought Shadows of Change. They are not giving the game the support it deserves... With very easy-to-fix MAJOR bugs staying in the game for months ! (Nakai, a DLC lord, not being able to recruit Kroxigors is the prime example of that)
Then CA milking their customers by increasing the price while also providing less content (no regiments of renown) and then on top of that threatening their customers to stop supporting the game if they don't buy DLCs !!!! That was the final staw for me...

Does the game deserve so much hate ? no
Is the game unplayable ? absolutely not
What I don't recommend is supporting CA's sh***y business practices
They need to understand that people would be willing to give them money if the support for the game, the content quality and quantity was enough. But, milk the cow too hard, without feeding it enough, and the cow will die...
