This game is the antidote to a busy day. It's smooth, it's relaxing, it lets your worries melt away. This game is your moment of zen.

Feels smooth, combat is engaging. There is no P2W which is nice for a F2P game. It has some unique mechanics that are enjoyable such as the Valor system that rewards the benefits you bring to the battlefield and the Cataclysmic systems are epic to battle over and use. Every class feels overpowered which leads to none of them being better then the other. The maps are few but good, as are the game modes. Some things aren't explained very well which is the largest downside I have come across. For example the battlepass is a bit slow until you complete the starter quest and get challenges.

I don't know what the problem is with the anti-cheat that other reviewers are coming across. It closes when the game closes, same as any other anti-cheat.

I have to give it a thumbs down due to the inflation cost of reviews.

Its just a worse version of Battlerite.

Over hyped and over exaggerated. The devs abandoned this game many years ago so I'm not sure what people expected from this release. It seems the devs are just re-appearing to cash in again because not only has not much changed from the alpha over six years ago, but it's in a worse state. All that remains are shards of a once fun game that is now lost to time.

By removing the xp system, the skill system and making it to where your gear is useless outside of the zone you find it in, this game evokes nothing but nostalgia.

"What if humanity suddenly encounters extraterrestrial intelligence on Earth?"

No idea. Outside of a rock with some LEDs, this DLC doesn't answer it's own question.
Oh and the rock with LEDs are only for the campaign.

You're going to see the term "Old School" a lot. That's because it's accurate. Some agree that the best part of a game is learning it. Today is filled with instant gratification, you start up a new game and it holds your hand. Walks you through everything with a breeze.

This isn't that kind of game, and that's a good thing.

We have something unique here. This is a game that goes beyond what we normally see. A full scale war driven entirely by players in a true sandbox experience. It can be very intimidating for new players but as you start to uncover the mechanics you'll see what I see.

These developers have somehow carved out this niche and manifested their own variant of what I'd call "Battlefield moments." You know what I'm talking about, those insane stories you tell your friends that can only happen in Battlefield because of how the game works. Clapfoot has created their version of that, And it works beautifully. I already can't count the amount of times this has happened to me, and it will happen to you too.
