this game is amazing, i bought this back on the xbox and really enjoyed the story but combat was just hide behind cover and let the auto aim do the work, but now its on pc its a lot more enjoyable. the story is amazing, probably the best story R* has made. if this is your first time playing, i suggest taking the world in and soak it all in, dont rush the story, play it slow. so far i've clocked in 44 hours and im still in chapter 3. its a long game if you explore and do a lot of side activities. I already know whats going to happen but I just really want to explore as Arthur Morgan. Now for performance, me personally i havent encounted any issues (except when i first booted up the game the resolution was broken but that was fixed easily. Other people have reported crashes and horrible frame rate. I play at 1080p and get 60-50 fps with ultra to high settings (though i do have a GTX 1080 and an i7 6700k) I havent played the MP but judging what i experienced in GTA5 i'd say its the same. Toxic and grindy. Get this if you love cowboys, good single player with lots of stuff to do and explore. honestly its worth it for the SP alone, the MP i see is as a bonus. Some things to note, yes you will have download the rockstar launcher when you play this but honestly people review bombing it are just idiots. always have faith and you'll get by just fine

Probably the best way to experience the halo series and really good value, 6 really well made games in 1. Just wish they add in local split screen and its perfect.

I feel bad for giving it a negative review because it is a really fun game but for £40/$60 its not worth it, if the price was slashed in half i would recommend it but the open world is basically hollow. amazing combat though but once you complete the story theres not much to do (problem with most open world games really). if you really enjoyed doom 2016 then you'll love this but dont expect much in terms of levels. This game could've benefited with co-op and the upgrade system is confusing at first as you need feltrite to unlock an upgrade then need the upgrade token to get that upgrade, problem is theres weapon mods, nanotrites, programs and vehicles to upgrade so it can be overwhelming at first as well as player upgrades (health and weapon damage upgrades). if the price was lowered i would highly recommend this game but as for now i say wait for a sale

when i first played it 5 years ago, I had no idea what i was doing and was confused. then recently I gave it another go and I really enjoyed this game, I can see why prey (2017) took inspiration from this game. obviously the graphics look like deformed lego but mods can fix that, i wish you could rotate items in the inventory and all weapons take 3 blocks of space no matter what they are which is odd, like a pistol takes up the same space a shotgun. I got lost once and had to look online what to do I think a lot of people can understand it was trying to get the code from art terminals and I could only find 1 number and I spent around 30 minutes trying to look for the rest so I gave up and googled it. This game makes you pay attention to the evironment and the audio logs as they contain key information on your objective and where you need to go. I really liked how it didnt hold my hand at all but did explain some things like the skills and what kind of weapon you're using. If you're a fan of bioshock, prey, deus ex you need to play this classic. The soundtrack is honestly so good, for a "horror" game it does pump you up when ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan and feel like a bad ass

gave it another go since the last time i played this back in may and within 4 minutes of playing i was killed by bees. good game

after seeing the disaster that was HDTF and charging £20 for basically some crappy mod that is basically unfinished, get this instead, this is actually made with passion with talented people behind it and is actually bug free compared to full release that is HDTF. Sure the ending is not there yet but honestly £15 for a faithful recreation of the first half life game is pretty good. I will say Outside parts of the game is really bad with frame rate, I got a gtx 1080, i7 6700k, 16gb 2400mhz ram and it will sometimes dip to 40, inside areas are good though just whenever outside it chugs. Still, this game looks really good too for a source engine game
