Clearly a cut above the rest of the RPG's on offer.
If you like deep and invested stories ...
If you like DnD and/or digital TTG's ...
If you like RPG's ...

... You need this game.

Congratulations, Bethesda Game Studios and a personal 'well done' to Tod Howard, Ashley and Angela. You have successfully taken a beloved franchise to a new level of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that hasn't been seen since Call of Duty. Clearly, you have stated with this new 25 year update, that Bethesda Game Studios is NOT about the gamer, but about the shareholder. You have demonstrated that your vision and passion is for the almighty dollar and finding the best way to extract those dollars from your ever-diminishing fan base.
Some suggestions, if I may be so bold, for Elder Scrolls VI.
1. Continue with the Creation Engine - as this is truly a winning engine that modern PC's need not fear. Everyone should be running these master-pieces in 6x4 format anyway.
2. Continue to tie the FPS to the frame rate. We all know that 60FPS is where it's at for silky-smooth graphics and anyone that wants more than that is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot.
3. Make sure that you take and use fan-made content without a) Testing it and b) giving the credit to the creators and/or c) Ensuring your shareholders are happy when you monetise this content by not giving the creator what their content is truly worth. I mean, ♥♥♥♥ them ... right?
4. Always a fan-favourite, and sure to increase the profit margin, perhaps consider bringing in loot-boxes, purchasable skins and DLC that clearly should be part of the game. I mean, DLC for character creation, DLC for weapons, DLC for areas outside the original starting area ... for reference, look at the DLC model of the latest SIMS (EA) and model after that - your shareholders will love you.
5. DO NOT, for the love of all that is holy, read the negative comments, or try to learn from the mistakes you have made. Remember, "If a mistake generated a positive bottom line, it wasn't a mistake".

Bethesda Game Studios - keep up the good work. You should be PROUD of what you have achieved.

I guess I need to buy this to play the entire game and get features needed to properly enjoy the game I've already purchased.
Bloody paywalls!
Wait ... what? It's not "required"?
Oh, well, here ... have my money!

*DISCLAIMER*: I like different games than you.
It's hard to review this game and the 'Thumbs up' isn't an indicator that it's a great game. It's not - but it is It, like so many modern games, has faults, which is indicative of how complex something is. The more you move away from KISS, the more problems you have. It does, however, entertain and certainly has high RNG frustration levels, but has an interesting story line and the interaction with the different survivors sets up many different juxtapositions, both in class and political tones. The loss of a survivor can impact harshly and the discovery of a new survivor may not be a good thing.
However, with it's bland animation, strict resource management and harsh RNG, this game is not for the faint of heart.

This is going to be a negative review until they fix the giant memory leak and optimise. The stuttering is well known on PC and can be crippling in sticky situations.

If these things were not an issue, I am fairly sure I'd enjoy the game.

I *WANT* to recommend this - I really do. I love the first Endless Space and I love THIS Endless Space 2 ...
... until the Rebellions begin - and never end. If you're like me and like a LONG game against a few AI's in a massive universe, then you will be disappointed once your Civ hits a certain size - and begins to crumble around your ears - and you can't find a way to get out of it - and you spend hours on various forums to see if there's a work-around for what appears as a flawed concept.

i am sad I can't, within my heart, give this a positive review.

Ok - as a SCUBA diver I had my reservations about diving in to this game (pun intended), however, this is hands down the best VR games I have played to date. The mere fact you have a VR set on leads to the immersion (diving mask). Sure, there are immersion-breaking moments like having fish 'fly' through your 'aquam domum' but, if you can see past that – it’s great fun. I am enjoying it immensely.

Science wrapped in fun? Who would have guessed you could learn from a game!

A steep learning curve will give you a perspective of space travel that you may have never considered in real life.

2018 - I'm still lovin' this

2020 - still playing, still love it - looking forward for KSP2 !!!
