If you are looking for a game that is not only immersive and beautiful, but also a brutal and challenging experience, then Dark Souls 2 is just the game for you.
You might think that "Oh well, i havent played any of the other games! how will i ever get immersed in it?!"
Not to fear, my soft-chested friend. Dark Souls 2 is set in a time long after the first Dark Souls game, and even though there are hints and easter eggs that refer to the first Dark Souls, you do not need to play the first one to understand the storyline (if you even manage to understand it.) And Demon souls' story is in no way related to Dark soul, so dont worry.
"But i heard that this game is really unforgiving and unfair, how will a casual like me ever get through that without getting more angry than a fat man who cant reach the chips!?"
I know the term "Artificial Difficoulty" has been hanging around the Souls game, but that is complete cow poop.
Yes, the game is difficoult and it will punish you when you screw up. But if you learn the patterns, are adaptable to your enviroment and try and think for just 3 seconds before rushing into things, you might just make it buddy!

"How about the Multiplayer part? Can i be a sunbro now?" Yea and no, it takes a lot of practice and praising to be a sunbro, but you can always just get invaded or summon a sunbro to get through the parts that prove too challenging for you.
Although some people just troll, and thats just how the virtual world is, deal with it.

So all in all, this is a very good game, IF you let it be. you have to give it time, learn the game and let it become part of you. No need to sacrifice any goats to the blood god, just have some darn patience!
