This is an insanely charming game. I was immediately sold on the PSX era of graphics with a modern touch, brought back a lot of nostalgia and as a fan of the survival horror genre of the likes of Resident Evil this was a great experience, you can feel the love and effort put into this game.

The game has great story telling, great atmosphere and great controls, the game play loop is pretty satisfying, the puzzles are interesting and as long as you make sure to read the notes scattered around, their solutions are readily available with a little thinking. And despite the horror atmosphere, it wasn't too scary but the fixed camera perspective, limited lighting, the unnerving music and the various cries of the monsters off in the distance keeps the game pretty unsettling but the game also takes some moments to break that tension with some of the silly remarks Mara will make as you interact with certain objects.

Overall the game was a blast to play and I highly recommend it.
