(Played this 2 days after setting up a new computer with RTX)

While this is a cool thing to add to a beloved game such as Portal I have yet to see anyone manage to get this running at a consistent 60 fps, with some tweaking I managed to get around 55 but this is with a new machine.

If performance issues and weird clipping bits are improved upon this'd be a really cool experience to engage with but as of now it feels like a slog. If you can get this to run consistently well its awesome, but you shouldn't have to tweak a ton to get it running consistently well.

Also a minor nitpick: In game barely looks anything like what you see in the trailers and I even had everything graphic/shadow wise on max.

After all the updates I can safely say there's a reason why this is one of the highest rate games on Steam of all time.
Terraria is a survival crafting game with a much heavier focus on combat and rpg elements than its piers and that's where it truly shines.

Combat in Terraria is divided into multiple classes but allows the player to use whatever they wish at any time, as well as completely swap classes if they find a weapon they enjoy. Bosses and general enemy positioning also teach the player to think ahead and understand that preparation and strategies can go a long way.

The building aspect of this game is very in depth despite being stuck on a 2D plane, players gain access to tools and equipment that allow them to change the shapes of blocks, as well as paint them to really make their structures and base their own.

The general gameplay loop coupled with so many things to do is also very satisfying, as well as letting the player decide what risk vs reward gameplay they're looking for (from a sandbox mode to ball busting master mode).

If I actually managed to talk about and spoil everything I love about this game, I'd go well over the character limit. This game is always on sale and nearly everyone owns it, if you somehow haven't gotten your hands on it, its a must have to play solo or with a group of friends.

Tied with Accent Core as "peak" Guilty Gear for me at least.

In terms of mechanics this is by far my favorite GG to play just from the sheer amount of creativity you can have with combos as well as this game having my favorite art style in the entire series.

Honestly one of the best card based games I've played in quite a bit, from the roguelike aspects to other mechanics later on its a real treat to adapt to what the game throws at you from new perspectives while still maintaining the core mechanics.

Its been quite a few months since the game released but like all the other reviews this is a game best gone into completely blind just like mullin's previous works.

Overall a fantastic game with a wonderful story underneath the hood

Punching through enemies like they're drywall and drinking potions like its monster energy. Truly a game design for a future generation of Kyle based lifeforms.

(its a very fun game though you might get a little bit of motion sickness depending on the person)

World's most esoteric cookie based experience.

(This is probably the best clicker/idle game I've ever played and the sheer amount of depth it has is insane for a game about clicking a cookie)

I can definitely say this might be one of the best games design for entry level/getting into fighting games due to its simplicity and very straightforward movesets.

Positives:
-Has rollback
-Wide array of characters both new and returning, as well as drastic changes to some of the returning characters for better or worse
-Good customization settings for lower end PCs
-Music (Duh its Guilty Gear lmao)
-More complexity added to the Roman Cancel mechanic (although this is for compensation)

Negatives: (More personal than anything else)
-Gameplay while fun is definitely lacking in many areas compared to previous entries, such as Accent Core and Xrd Sign/Revelator
-The severe cut to some moves makes characters feel much less complete than previous titles which is usually substituted via roman cancel combos, which while fun and creative feels like a dampen rather than a consistent positive, due to requiring meter much more often.
-The simplicity changes to some characters such as May and Ram is great for a lot of players that enjoy those changes, though you could say fighting a third of the cast is like playing Ape Escape.

Opinionated:
-I personally preferred the stylization of Xrd in that it tried to replicate 2D fighting game visuals, through simple and bright colors as well as smears + squash and stretch, but Strive's art direction definitely achieves what its going for.
-Music is pretty good though I prefer the styles of Accent Core just a bit more.

Overall Strive is a fantastic fighting game to get your friends INTO fighting games, because unlike Skullgirls and some other +4 button fighters, this game allows for creative combo game that isn't absurdly difficult to get into the first time you play.

This is a game I'm very mixed on though I can't say its outright bad.
Enter the Gungeon is a very good game from a gameplay perspective, especially with the balance changes and the addition of synergies, which adds another layer of depth and strategy to the gameplay.

The game has numerous bosses, floors, and secrets each with their own unique properties and enemy types to add to the mix, as well as an insane amount of passives, guns, and use items akin to that of roguelikes like Isaac.

Its a completely fine and enjoyable game though I do have a few issues with it that are more personal than anything else.
- Boss patterns can become redundant once you know how most of them work, you're never going to get hit on the first 3 floors of bosses and even if you do it'll only be once.
- The unlock system being almost entirely credits based (you gain credits via killing bosses) feels more like artificial progression than any other roguelike I've played.
- While the room variation and enemy types are mostly solid I do feel that way more could have been designed, especially for the first and later floors as the feeling of repetition increases the more you play.

This is by no means a negative for most roguelike enjoyers but the unlocks and progression definitely feel much more sluggish than the others. (Don't even get me started on crafting the bullet.)

Overall the game is fairly fun once you get past this, and the changes to item drops and general weapons makes the game way more enjoyable than it had been on release, which definitely soured the opinion of most peoples initial playthroughs.
