HEY YOU!
Do you like CARDS?
Do you like BEATING UP MONSTERS?
How about GETTING DESTROYED AND KNOWING IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT?!
If you answered YES to none or more of these questions, then THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU!

When I first tried destiny, I confess, I didn't enjoy it at all. It felt clunky, slow, and frustrating.
Then New Light released. I was drawn to try again, come back and see how it was, and oh my it has improved to such an incredible degree, it doesn't even feel like the same game.
Between the vast open spaces to explore, deep and interesting characters and a sense of humour that feels natural and well balanced with the seriousness of the game, it's easy to get into. As I discovered after accidentally no-lifing the game for a week solid.
It's a great game, and the sheer amount of content you get for free is staggering.
9/10 It's a beauty, but ruins my life balance.

You've done it, you've beaten the main story. The God Kitava lays dead at your feet, and you feel something pulling you, something drawing you in, and a profound sense of loss.
You begin mapping, and something drives you onward, pushing you to establish your build, refine it, perfect it.
Dozens of chaos spent on gear turns into several exalts as you push beyond what would normally be feasible.
You start crafting better and better gear, trading and mapping in a wild frenzy.
Your family starts to worry, you haven't spoken to anyone in weeks.
But inside, you know it's okay.
Because from the moment you finish act 10,
Chris Wilson owns your soul.

As always, I find myself coming back to this game. The vast, emptiness of space, and the lush planets I seek to void of their resources.
Starting in a wrecked ship after a collision with an asteroid, or landing on a vibrant, grassy plain to start a base; all of these things are seamlessly integrated in a game that gives true freedom in creativity and design.
There's nothing quite like trying to figure out your thruster alignment, only to mess it up and watch your ship tear itself apart.

I've played this game a lot over the past several years, and the hours on my profile don't do justice to the sheer amount of time I've invested into this game. Needless to say, there's a good reason for that, and that's that this game just keeps on giving.

Here's a warning to everyone.

Rockstar bans innocent players, and the modders and hackers have free reign of the game.

If you want to play online, either play solo or in a private lobby, because if not, apparently existing in the same geographical location is enough to warrant being taken out by Rockstar's ban nukes.

Don't waste your money if you want to play legit. It's not worth it.

What can I say. This is a game that I keep coming back to, even while it's in Early Access.
The depth added by allowing players to design every aspect of their town is amazing, and the construction system, while it has it's flaws, is likewise amazing.
Every time I go to play this game, I have to set aside several hours, because I know for a fact I'll miss something important if I don't.

DAY 1: I woke up on a strange beach today, and found a gem of some kind embedded in my arm. It's a good thing I look like a more buff version of Arnold Swarzenegger or I might be worried by this. I immediately set about scouring the local bushes and plantlife for berries, when suddenly I heard a collossal roar from above, and looked up just in time to see a brontosaurus foot smash me into a fine paste across the beach.

DAY 1-2: Strange, I clearly remember being blood pudding just a second ago. Oh well! Before I start harvesting, I should probably check to be sure there aren't any giant-footed prehistoric beasties looking for me. With the coast clear, I set about my task, and scrounge up a nice armful of berries. I've played a lot of videogames, and if there's one thing I know you should ALWAYS do, it's punch trees to begin with to get some wood! Log cabins here I come!!

DAY 1-3: OOOOWWWW!! Gods damnit that hurt!! Who knew punching trees was a bad idea? Anyway, I managed to get together some crude sticks and thatch, and using a rock from the beach, made myself a sort of makeshift club-axe-thing. Hope I can figure out how to make bandages soon, my hands ache like crazy.

DAY 1-4: At last! I figured out just a moment ago how to use the fibres around me to make simple cloth, allowing me to make some pants and a shirt. Nudity-be-gone! It's only taken me a few hours, but I'm starting to get the basics of a small thatch-walled shack, so I can at last be safe when I nod off.

DAY 1-5: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I HATE BRONTOSAURUSES!!!!
