game does not blow

As someone that pre-purchased and played the B.E.T.A I will have to agree with most of the negative reviews when they say that this game had one of the worst launches I've ever seen with a game. Crashes, lag, little to nothing to do but listen to holotapes for hours. Bethesda believed that events would keep the player base alive. Though these things get quite tiring after awhile.

Ever since they announced Wastelanders. I decided to take a break from the game until it was released. I've kept myself updated on the drama and ♥♥♥♥ that Bethesda has done as a company, what they've been doing with Fallout 76 and I kept a heads up, and have been waiting patiently. I kept my hype low for Wastelanders in hoping that it would make Fallout 76 worth playing. And so I played it.

Not even a minute into the game I was attacked by a mix of Blood Eagle Raiders and the Cult of Mothman. They were battling it out and turned their attention towards me. Of course, being awesome. I murdered all of them. But it was a nice change of pace instead of walking around a barren wasteland filled with robots that say one line only. To now roaming NPC's that actually make the world feel alive. A nice change to the feel and dynamic of the world.

As for the people saying this is what the game should've been? Yes, and no. Yes Wastelanders is something that makes Fallout 76 a real game. BUT Bethesda tried something new. And they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up. But I'd say it was a learning experience for them. A cash grab? No, they obviously wanted to fix this game and make it playable for people that cared. You do not -require- Fallout First or any of the in-game shop items to enjoy this game.

I've bought this game twice early on for PS4 and PC. At full price and not the discounted price it is now. At 40$ I would say this game is worth getting now. Make some friends, play with existing friends, punch raiders, punch ghouls. Go have fun.

It's gay, but the good gay

Very fun to play but I think it's best to play with friends, even though this game is DLC heaven. It can be fun with 3 people if you all know what you're doing.
