It's unplayable, as the controls are aimed way off even if you try to fix them in the settings. There's also a hit-reg issue, where it doesn't pick up your attacks a lot of the time (you swing a sword through an enemy and nothing happens). It's a shame because the concept and theme seem good.

This is by far the greatest game to ever grace our wonderful galaxy, and will be for at least the next 700,000 years.

As long as they continue to balance things out, it'll continue to be a great game if you enjoyed WoW arena.

Only tried a year after the game came out (waited for bug fixes) and I'm glad I did. The game is great.

Simple and a lot of fun.

In the current state, it's not fun. There are also a ton of blueprints that haven't been added yet (like everything related to water). The combat feels weird (you either one shot things or the mission beasts need like 100 headshots to die). You can sprint up 90 degree angle mountains, have wolves that can tear down stone walls in seconds, etc. Don't even get me started on the lore (bears and trees that don't need oxygen, yet fires burn just fine). On top of that, the game requires you to reinstall the entire game every patch because of the way they package the game.

I'd give it a year before trying again. It has a lot of work to go.

Update: Just found out that if you don't send your character back to orbit before the timer ends, your character gets deleted. Absolute garbage.

A little cheesy but overall a fun game and the cases are actually pretty good.

It's just really janky. The graphics are terrible, the combat is janky and terrible, trying to target specific things is janky, etc. You're also reliant on the taming system since dinosaurs do way more than a survivor, so if you aren't interested in handling a bunch of pets then you'll be disappointed.
