This is one of the few mods that I play religiously every October. It's short, but is it delicious.

There's something wrong when an ancient source horror mod has better scares then most modern slop.

Please port Underhell to the newest version of source and patch it to properly function.

A disappointment.

Arrowhead admitting they planned the PSN merge to the publisher demanding it. If those poor countries banned off the PSN network can't play. Then we don't need to dive.

I held my tongue long enough. I've been playing the Tide series since the first Vermintide. I have maxed out all the characters in the previous games with happy ease and spent all the time in the world idly playing through it because the previous games were genuinely fun...even if Vermintide 2 took a while to reach the great state that it was in.

Darktide however...to quite plainly put it...is ♥♥♥♥. You get bought out by tencent and suddenly you make the worst marketing decisions on earth. A perfectly functioning cash shop that abuses currency while the rest of the game suffers in content, progression and the complete lack of crafting.

Using Dan Abbet's name as a flashy icon when he just merely done the world building was a nasty move considering that Matt Ward wrote the rest of the damn game. What a surprise in how the miniscule and pitiful story is already bad enough from an already iffy writer.

A game built on the foundation of lies will collapse like wet matches. What a horrible launch for an (totally not) early access game.

Stay away from it, give it the Vermintide 2 treatment. Wait several years for price to drop and the game to actually be stable enough to play.

A literal masterpiece of a source mod. Why this isn't even being sold at even a miniscule price is a big miss-out on the developers. Excellent story, design and everything.

I've played this since before full release on steam. And I definitely thing it has gone down the crapper in terms of skill gap and weapon balance.

Game needs to be rebalanced in a lot of ways. You can either get complete newbies, or 1000+ hour players with 2.00+ KD.

Great graphics, decent optimization, excellent atmosphere with sounds included.

For now, unless you enjoy being one tapped really fast in a fight or being shat on by high prestieges with multiple crown and kings, I suggest carefully passing this and keeping an eye on potential fixes or revivals in balance.

Cheaters can be either super common, or super rare depending on your luck of the day.

Oh and as much as I like Legendaries. Priotize the happiness of your players instead of cash.

Binged this and got to 1.80 on my K/D, but I just don't really have fun with the game no more since it is quite capable of raising my blood pressure from the SHEER RAGE.

I hope that napalm doesn't wave over our own troop wave.

I remember the days when kids shouted that this game was a minecraft copy.

How wrong they were when the game finally fleshed out years ago.

Now it is quite the masterpiece, and it has a good modding player base.
