Howdy. I'm a casual player and a laptop user. I enjoy helping others and engage in fun group activities. I delight in books by witty authors, and help fund independent films and art projects when able. Thanks for looking. Stay awesome, be kind, be safe, and play well. Pura vida.
Gaming is For All
Whether they be solo experiences or played with others, and whether they are sports, tabletop gaming, video games, or otherwise, gaming is an activity that everyone can engage in and enjoy. Everyone has a right to play and enjoy games regardless of their age, gender, race, religion, political views, sexual orientation, abilities or disabilities, or any other identities and life experiences. It is for everyone and games should be safe, inclusive, and fun as possible for all involved. Regardless if you're a new or a returning player, remember to always be respectful, ethical, and fair when playing with your fellows. Simply put, have fun, be kind, and be safe! Thanks for reading. Review Showcase

Operation: Tango is an incredibly fun spy-themed, cooperative game. It features a distinct, asymmetrical playstyle for each player in their respective role -- either as an Agent or as a Hacker. Cooperation and communication via voice chat is absolutely essential to progress through the game as puzzles are very cleverly designed to require inputs and participation from each player. It is a true co-op experience in every sense; and my friends and I had an absolute blast with this gem of a game! It's super fun, immersive, and engaging!!

Some notes worth mentioning:
  • Only one player needs to have the full version of the game. There's a Friend Pass version of the game that the devs have generously offered that allows anyone to play along with you. Props to the devs for that.
  • Color puzzles are also spelled out or represented by symbols so players with any degree of colorblindness need not worry.
  • Some players will encounter a game-breaking bug in Mission 5 of the main story. If you do encounter it, simply reloading or restarting the game should allow you to continue without having to redo the entire mission. There's also a workaround from the dev team to bypass this mission if needed.
  • You can (un)intentionally kill your partner in game as well, you monster.

At the time of this review, Operation: Tango just turned two! Congrats to the developers in creating a fun gaming experience that anyone can enjoy! Here's to further future success to them in new co-op experiences, the next iteration of Operation: Tango (2), or whatever else that they can come up with. Cheers!
