It was the first six months of the mod that were surprisingly the best in the roleplay, people were really afraid of zombies, tried to minimise clashes, I don't remember what patch it was, but it got to the point where you could crawl through the village without getting zombies, there was a global chat where you were either helping someone, for example, transfusing blood or getting trapped (which had its own romanticism, this unplanned shootout, of course, there were also "bullet in the forehead").
I would compare this virtual world to the film "Last Player Standing", where you would be fighting from dawn to dusk, punishing Chernorusa. I met a lot of people with whom I exchanged Skype messages (he's still alive, huh?) and united for common survival. For completely different reasons, and I won't say that they were neutral, there were not pleasant endings to the communication.

The most important thing you need to know about Brutal Legend has nothing to do with heavy metal music. Definitely, a deep love for this genre can play a huge role in the overall enjoyment of the game's guitar solo-filled and stellar story, but it's easier to find pleasure in what the game is when you don't expect it.
