NOTE: I have retracted my "Not recommended" verdict for this game

Initially, I did not enjoy this game at all. I came into the game having the same expectations as The Witcher 3. Boy was I in for a shock. Nothing about the game made me want to launch it when I wake up. The atmosphere was boring and dead. The gameplay felt lacklustre compared to other games made in the same year. I couldn't care much about the story, and don't really care about the characters as I have in other games.

However, since Patch 2.0, my whole outlook changed. I was completely hooked on the game and could not wait to come home from work to play it. I have just finished the game as I am typing this review. Wow, did I enjoy the game to my heart's content. I loved every single bit of Patch 2.0. The Patch made me love it.

I loved the characters, but also loved the story and the relationships. CDPR did a good job at turning it around. Well done! I am sad it is over...
