The gameplay and art direction is cool, but for a walking simulator like this the only real thing that matters for me is the writing. Unfortunately the writing is dull and ham-fisted with a twitter-brained view of politics. I'm left-leaning and love walking simulators but I found the writing to be *offensively* awful. Not worth the full $20

Notes for prospective first-time players:

* This game isn't very replayable, so enjoy it in your first run when you can. Don't look things up, it'll spoil the fun

* I tried playing this in one day-long marathon and I just found myself frustrated by the end. There's a balance that needs to be struck: you need to play for longer sessions to build up context, but if they're too long you might just get bored and miss details due to fatigue
