Went into this one with low expectations and it's turning out to be my favorite DLC so far.

I don't understand the hype around this game. Graphics look like The Sims on Nintendo DS back in 2005, and the combat is the worst I've ever seen in a videogame.

Whole series is good, definitely worth the price.

Game is amazing. Top negative review is by a guy that didn't even make it out of the starting zone.

If you enjoyed the first Subnautica, go into this one with extremely low expectations. Below Zero is a huge step backwards.

Not much to do even by early access standards. The "story" is over in about 10 minutes and all you're left to do is build and explore. This is the case with most early access survival games, but in those there's usually a treat to be preparing for. Random enemies attacking your base, struggling to find food and water, shelter from the elements, etc. None of that is present in this game. No buildings or landmarks to loot, no tech tree to work up, and as far as I can tell there's only the one map. And that map is SMALL. You can run from 1 side to the other in like 2 minutes.

This game would be ok if it was a F2P open beta, but $30 for this is insane.
