PLAY THIS GAME!
When stationed in ole Japan, I was a lover of their arcades. 5 stories or more, with everything from DDR to mouse/joystick mech shooting games, it was a game lovers paradise. What was really fun was all the new machines that came in. Theyd put lots of these boxes on the top floor, set up the ropes so you can form a line (yes, lines for the good ones) and play the newest and most interesting games on the market. This game was one of those and was a major favorite of theirs.

The controls looked ridiculous on the arcade and very difficult to learn, but here they have remapped them perfectly if not more fluidly. This allows lots of room for control. The game reminds me alot of other anime/fighting genre games (ex Ultimate Ninja) and such where you can use special moves and specific counters to help you stand out above the rest.

Although fairly new to the game on steam it seems that the Free to play concept is working well so far with this one. (I'll update if it changes) Currently cosmetics are the main source of income for the game as it needs something to stay alive. Characters are also purchasable in game with a freely rotation, not unlike common MOBAs, however they allow you a week of all characters unlocked to play online and against bots to find out what character you like the most, or play the best with. I At the end of the free period they reward you with a character of your choice, so that favorite character is yours! t also hosts a "Skill block" system that can give you boosts to def/atk/spd/etc much like LoL's rune system. However you can buy them and recharge them at anytime with the in game currency. I heard all the negative reviews and such were from a poor f2p style that turned more to pay2play which, well, isnt what you are here for. Whatever they did before to deserve a bad review, its gone now.
