Kind of a strange steampunk point-and-click adventure. The main character has the same voice as the narrator in Bastion, adding some nostalgia in there. The story is amazing, as should be in any point and click. It's a fairly quick game, but it's certainly not easy to figure out. Reminded me a little of Zork. I loved the game, and it's worth your time and money.

This game topped my charts as my all-time favorite. The combat is complex yet wonderful, allowing for dozens of different weapon combinations, from extra range to making enemies fall in love with you and help you out for a little while. The combat has two functions: One that lets you pause and plan your moves strategically, and another that lets you go all out and spam your abilities till you kill all those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dogs that- ahem, moving on. The story is really well done, ensnaring the player and making you want to push forward to find out what happens next. But be forewarned- If you're looking for a story telling experience similar to SuperGiant's last game, Bastion, you've come to the wrong place. The main character Red is incredibly well developed, a singer in the city of Cloudbank who mysteriously loses her voice when injured lightly by yet another mystery: The Transistor. The game's music leaves nothing to be desired, sung by non other than Ashley Lynn Barrell, who voiced Zia and sang the female parts in Bastion. The music fits the game perfectly, and hits the heart like truly good music should.

Great successor to Dark Souls. The Good: The game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun. I enjoyed the hell out of it. The best part was the ability to warp immediately and between any of the bonfires, similar to how Demon's Souls did it. The story in the game, still as obscure and not in-your-face as the first game, is wonderful. There are a few references to the first game, both obscure ones and plain, the most obvious probably being the Old Dragonslayer at the beginning of the game. The combat in the game is well done, with plenty of spells to choose from and even adding a new type: hexes. The combat is fluid and fun, strength being much stronger than it was in the first game with dexterity underpowered and almost not viable. The PvP is very satisfying, and winning a 1v2 gives the same satisfaction beating Orenstein and Smough solo in the first game brought. The art style I thought was terrible at first, but after spending some time with it, grew on me and I now think it's a very nice looking game. The music is decent, but I wouldn't say it's one of the game's strong points. The Bad: Most of the bosses are pretty much the same- big dudes in armor with similar movesets, making the bossfights boring and repetitive after a while. Despite the *much* larger world, it feels like there's way less to explore due to the lack of shortcuts and secrets the first game had, removing that amazing awe I always feel about how connected everything was in Dark Souls 1. In addition to that, the game was much less punishing than its predecessor, as the game feels much easier in comparison to the first Souls game, not giving me the same satisfaction I got before after beating a boss I've been struggling with (that is, I only struggled on one boss out of the 31 bosses in the game). In addition to all that, the most frustrating and annoying thing for me was the areas in the game. The Gutter was, let's be real, Blighttown all over again. And Blighttown was great- but I played through it already. I don't want an easier version of it thrown at me, I want new and exciting areas. And while the purpose of it may have been TO feel like Blighttown for story purposes I'll leave you to decipher, it still felt like I was being cheated out of a new experience (this being one example of a few different areas that are basically copes). The Ugly: The game is, hands down, great. I beat it in one 36 hour session, staying up two nights in a row to beat it. In that time I beat every boss except one- whether that's just a testament to how good I am at video games or that the game is simply not challenging, I'll let you decide on your own. Despite the repetitive nature of the bosses and the similarities between the areas in the first game and second the combat is phenomenal and the game is worth your time. And while some people would say it's unfair to compare the game to it's predecessor and I should think of it as it's own game, with this franchise in particular I don't want to do that. The franchise is known for how punishing it is, and if the game doesn't live up to the standard I have for that, I am going to be slightly disappointed. For all that, the game is great, I love it very much, and I recommend it.

Good game. The music is FANTASTIC. It fits the game like a glove, and the vocals are amazing. The whole concept of the game (the ability to morph into and out of shadows) is genius. The graphics are good, but the system requirements for max graphics are very high, so I had to play on less than max. The story is good but not fleshed out very much as there isn't much time to do so. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys fairly simple puzzles, but mostly enjoy story and just having a good time.

An incomparable experience.

Phenomenal stealth platformer. Klei's usual bralwers are dwarfed in quality compared to this. The fluidity of the game makes the combat feel wonderful with good ambience. The addition of different outfits you can wear affecting what your character can do and being able to change it to your playstyle makes it adaptable to how you want to play. The storyline is fantastic as well, the music is decent, and the strealth is very well done. I'd give it a 9/10

This game is so trippy. I can't explain how strange this game is. But it's so much fun. Worth your time and money.

Dishonored is a wonderful game. It's a Stealth/Action game that lets you choose whether you want to play it full stealth or go all out and kill everyone in your sight, and likewise allows for a full non-lethal playthrough, even giving alternate options for main targets. The one big problem with the game is that it doesn't know whether it wants to be 100% stealth or 100% action, so while the gameplay is fun it's not as good as it could be if it focused on one of those mechanics. That being said, the game is still great and I highly recommend it.

Really fun game, though a bit repetitive in the dungeons as you are literally moving straight down and the only difference is the new mobs and different sorroundings every few floors. The gameplay is satisfying, however, and definitely fun. Worth your money, especially for the cheap price point it often goes on sale for.
