I really wanted to like this game. The art and music make the game immersive and set a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, I found myself constantly frustrated by how much the game drags.
Interaction with the world feels clunky and slow. Movement is slow and you cannot even hover over other items in the room until clicking through several dialogue texts for each item. I often felt trapped in dialogue that felt boring and gratuitous.
Moreover, the puzzles were confusing to the point of being unfulfilling. When finally finding a solution, there was no ah-ha moment, simply an "ok, that doesn't make much sense." Felt like the game punished you for trying to find logical solutions. (I'm not sure why you would ever use barbed with to strip an electrical wire.)
Alas, the story was not enough to keep me interested in the game given these complaints.

As a fan of Little Nightmares, I am glad this game did not disappoint my high expectations. Little nightmares II was able to deliver on the same mix of information and mystery that made the world of Little Nightmares so engrossing. Playing this game feels like the greatest mashup of Inside and Half Life Alex, right down to the gut wrenching ending for fans of the story. Interesting puzzles, great music, beautiful set design; this series is a must play for fans of story driven games that suck you in.

Interesting and unique, a great game to pick up and play if you need a break from the daily grind.
