What I liked: Building on an island as its dictator and exploring different routes to gain capital while balancing the needs of the plebs.

This game needs far more flesh to it, not just building stuff to fufill a quest or personal objective.

Would I reccomend: Yes

I find myself sinking hours into Civ 5 without realizing, arguably the greatest in its genre and my favorite strategy game. It has fun, intuitive game-play and (despite a lack luster combat system) a large sense of tension placed on your every move to achieve the final Victory!
