Munar fly-by mission:

Building a 'suitable' rocket = 30 mins
Launching said rocket, only to find you've miscalculated the aerodynamics, lose stability and crash = 5 mins
Redesign rocket to be more stable = 10 mins
Relaunch suitable rocket 2.0, get out of atmo to find you've miscalculated your fuel and don't have enough to maintain an orbit to transfer from = 10 mins
Redesign MkII, adjusting rocket (more engines = better right??) = 15 mins
Come up with the brilliant idea to launch at the correct time/angle to combine escape velocity and transfer burns into one. Accelerate time to get the Mun into the right alignment, overshoot the window because you went too fast and didn't react quick enough. Wait for the right moment again and finally get ready to launch = 10 mins
Launch, wait for a moment and then begin to steer the rocket towards an horizontal angle. Forget that you hadn't enabled SAS, lose control, do 100,000 revolutions and crash = 5 mins
Reload, hit the SAS button and launch again. Setup the correct orientation, burn for the correct amount of time to intercept with the Mun = 10 mins
Accelerate time until caught by Mun's gravity, conduct the 3 experiments you have on board (because you've spent your science on more important things) = 5 mins
Check your trajectory to find your 'flyby' is more accurately heading for a 'fly-through'. Rush a quick plan to correct your flight path and enact the burn = 10 mins
Happy that you're back on course, accelerate until the escape of Mun's gravity = 5 mins
Check your flight path and decide that due to the low amount of fuel left, to decelerate now in the hopes of bringing your periapsis within Kerbin's atmosphere. Perform the burn and take a sip of whatever drink is handy = 10 mins
While drinking said drink, spit it out when you realise said deceleration has put you back into the Mun's gravity, skewing your flight path. Accelerate time until you escape Mun's gravity (again) and check your trajectory = 5 mins
Good news, your still on your way to Kerbin. Bad news, re-entry is looking a little steep, but there's not much to do about it with no fuel left, so fingers crossed, you accelerate time again until reentry = 5 mins
You eject all remaining parts except the command module and a cargo bay with all your 'many' experiments, sit back and watch. You realise about halfway through reentry that the ground is approaching a little fast but it's still not safe to open your chutes, so you decide to open your cargo bay doors for addition drag (that's how it works right?) = 5 mins
Still approaching fast you start a mild panic and spin your craft in circles because that'll definitely help, right? = 2 mins
Panic rising you hit the staging button to activate your chutes, which tear off instantly = 2 min
You get your Kerbal to perform an EVA (you're all in now), activate their jetpack and attempt to slow decen... (insert explosion here) = 1 min

1 hour after launch (and 2 hours 25 mins after loading the game) all your efforts lay in a pile of burning scrap on some remote part of Kerbin. You Alt+F4, resist the urge to punch a fist through your screen and give yourself a timeout in the corner of your room.

30 mins later you're loading the game back up again and doing it all over again.
