Rocket League is a very fun game in my view. With around 450 hours+ I'm a stable plat. To casually play this game with some friends is a blast, you don't get mad and you can just smile through out some car soccer. Although the ranking system is where some anger might arise. Rocket league has a HUGE skill gap in the competitive scene, from Bronze barely being able to hit the ball all the way to GC's (Grand Champion) hitting flip resets for a warm up. It can get hard very fast but that doesn't discourage you from playing the game because once you see some of the things these "higher ranked" players do it instantly makes you want to be able to do those things as well. It also doesn't take too long to get some of the most helpful mechanics down either. Wave dashing, half flips and fast arials is what I would recommend to learn first if you're just starting out. They will help you out a lot especially in rank silver. The ranking system goes from Bronze1 - 3, Silver1 -3, Gold1 - 3, Platinum1 - 3, Diamond1 - 3, Champion1 - 3 and Grand Champion. The main player base is around Gold 2 in the competitive scene so some players are pretty good. There is a lot of different game modes in Rocket League too. In casual you have you 3v3, 2v2, 1v1 and 4v4. In competitive there is 3v3(Parties aloud), 2v2, 1v1 and 3v3 solo standard(Parties not aloud/solo queue). And there is a "extras" tab for game modes like Rumble(power-ups), Dropshot(Have to break the floor to score), Hoops(Basketball) and Snowday(Hockey kinda, you play with a puck instead of a ball. That's my review on Rocket League and if you want to give it a shot I would say go for it you wouldn't regret it. I rank it 999/10.
