Was a great game, Denuvo happened, now cant even start it.

It's disheartening to see the current state of the game. The prevalence of cheaters has reached an alarming level, to the point where every time the opposing team performs well, the immediate suspicion is that they are using hacks. This constant doubt undermines the integrity of the game and the enjoyment of legitimate players. Valve's apparent lack of effective anti-cheat measures and swift action against offenders only compounds the problem.

Moreover, the game has been starved of meaningful updates and new content, leaving the community feeling neglected. The absence of regular communication from the developers leaves players in the dark about the future direction of the game. The lack of support for custom servers and the failure to implement features that were present in csgo, such as Danger Zone mode, further erodes player confidence.

As a long-standing fan of the series, it's frustrating to see Counter-Strike in this state. I sincerely hope that Valve takes decisive action to address these issues and restore the game to its former glory. Until then, I cannot recommend the game in its current form.
