Propaganda if it was good and worked

Bethesda clearly spent years working on this game. unfortunately it doesnt show anywhere that actually matters. its the most sterile safe game possible and yet it somehow doesnt even do that particularly well :/

So Far, combat is satisfying and easy to learn/get into. some small issues with performance but it's nothing that hurts my experience or gets me killed.
will probably all get fixed soon anyways so yes is good game.

this game does not forget and it certainly does not forgive

Was kind of wary buying a "sport" title since I keep hearing how bad 2K, Fifa, and Madden are but this turned out to be a pleasant surprise. online lobby system is kinda a joke that feels like its held together by duct tape but once you get into a race its incredibly addicting. the story mode and career modes are both really well done and the career mode especially is one that i found myself getting a little too into recently.
8/10 best yearly release out there i think.

I write this immediately after finishing the Boss of the final floor for the first time.

The Story is the main draw here. When first starting you ask yourself. Who is Zagreus? Why does he want to leave the underworld? What awaits him? How will he (and you) escape? All these questions are partially answered throughout your playthrough and after the first time beating the final boss. There is still more. Beating the game once does not mean that is the end of the story. There is still more to learn and I, along with many others, are Very compelled to see the story through to the end. And so I shall try to see it to the end.

The combat is incredibly fun. Using the different weapons and their aspects combined with the Olympian Boons and Hammer buffs make every run-through very different. You can buff yourself through the mirror of night making you stronger after every run, which to some would make this a rogue-LITE however after beating the final boss, you unlock the Pact of Punishment. This is essentially the opposite of the Buff Mirror, instead making the gameplay and enemies harder and tougher. As far as I am aware, this is required in some sense to progress the story and whatnot. however, while the mirror of night makes the game work a little in your favor, it does not make your victory feel less earned. It is an incredibly rewarding experience that makes it feel as if you earned each kill. Even after being fully buffed and with amazing Boons and the like, the bosses still manage to kick your ass and even end your runs early if you aren't careful.

So far this game has been a deeply rewarding experience and I cannot wait to see what is in store for me later on.

look fam it was fun when it came out but man this game kinda tanked fast. not sure how it tanked as hard as it did but damn

I havent beaten this game yet. does this mean its a bad game? NO!!! I just started my two previous playthroughs at times when i suddenly became very busy irl and forgot about the game for an extended period.

This time however, ive got it. quarantine, online classes, and other factors will leave me to play this game in peace.

but what can i say about this game? WELL IT SURE DOESNT HOLD YOU HAND AT ALL. seriously it respects the player. no yellow line or marker telling you where and when to be everywhere. and the music OH LORD the music its so damn good. the writing is amazing and everything. play this game.

This game is pretty good. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys a good story. Do be warned, this game does not shy away from brutally murdering high school students. there are no camera cutaways, you see the characters as they die in a lot of instances. So, yeah be careful if you are sensitive to that sort of stuff. It did catch me off guard.
Otherwise, its a solid 8-9/10

What a thrill ride. starts strong, but oh boy if it doesnt pick up around chapters 7-10. If you started playing and stopped before those points, pick this game back up and give it another go. It is worth it.
