Early Access Review
Fun & casual auto shooter with condensed short 15-20min gameplay loop where you can be as calculative or as brain dead as you like. As of writing this review, it's still in Early Access but its alot of fun, worth the price and a good game to play one or two rounds after a long day.

Best 4 player third person coop game in years, but buy the game for what it is now and not for what it will become, wait till most of the problems you've heard of is fixed and then spread Democracy for Super Earth o7

The manifestation of an unparalled imagination of Dark Fantasy, Elden Ring is an extremely accessable souls game where you embrace and explore the most haunting and beautiful open world FromSoft has made so far.

All Killer no filler, Separate Ways is an amazing DLC that follows Ada Wong's story and agenda in a timeline that coincides with Leon's story.

Her campaign has this 'spy-like' feel with very fast and well paced action story beats that takes you to new places with new encounters that were missing from the Remake while smartly reusing existing areas and altering existing enemies to give a familiar but fresh experience.

The 10USD is initially suspicious as the original Separate Ways was free but this is a new experience from the Remake and after finishing it twice, I genuinely feel that this is worth way more with how much fun I had.

A literal must buy DLC if you enjoyed the base game and want more.

A strong 6 to 6.5 out of 10, a fun little Spiderman 1.5 mini sequel before the official Spiderman 2 release. You'll definitely enjoy yourself but the story beats and characters aren't as good as the first one.

Miles Morales still retains the fun & engaging gameplay moments and amazing open world traversal while taking place in New York City that is bustling with life and looks incredible. However, the story is really lacking and predictable while the characters are very one dimensional and under-developed. I certainly had fun and it was nice side story but Mile's journey of personal growth and becoming Spiderman is disappointing even without comparing it to Peter's arc.

I spent 10 hours clearing the story and doing some open world stuff and i'd say it's decently paced as I never felt extremely bored or overwhelmed but even with the cheaper price, id still wait for a discount before buying.

Remnant 2 is not only an incredible sequel to Remnant 1 but an amazing standalone game.

You do not need to have played the first game to enjoy it's polished gun play, challenging but not punishing systems and intriguing character interactions while being chock full of puzzles to solve, secrets to uncover and a staggering amount of replay-ability value with alternate outcomes resulting from dialogues and actions that you as a player make while paired with a randomized tile set that makes each adventure feel familiar yet fresh and unique.

Easily one of my favourite games of 2023 so far.

The Amazing Spiderman and the not so amazing, decent other stuff.

Firstly, I'd like to clarify that I love this game. I had so much fun and i'd recommend it full price any time of the year, it's that good. Just like the Batman Arkham series, Insomniac Games really captured of what it feels like to be Spiderman and make it insanely fun. However, there are some elements and sections that are under-developed but it isn't enough to drag this game down.

The Gameplay:
Gameplay is split into 2 sections: playing as Spiderman and playing as Peter parker/everyone else.

Playing as Spiderman is great; everything is fun, fluid and polished. Swinging around never felt so good. There's a learning curve on the web swinging like momentum and jump timings but oh boy it is so satisfying and it even makes basic open world stuff like catching pigeons or time attack challenges fun. I unlocked every map revealing 'watch tower' before my 3rd story mission. It is that good.

Playing as everyone else however is a bit underwhelming. Everything comes to a halt because these sections are so slow and the gameplay aspects are really under baked. MJ sections are stealth based and how simple it is paired with the dumb AI makes it feel like a chore. Peter Parker sections are alot puzzle based and there are only 2 types of puzzles that can get extremely repetitive. I just opted to skip after doing it 3-5 times. There is one noticeable MJ level where you have to coordinate with Spidey to take down foes but that's the only noticeable good level I remember.

Combat is easily my favourite part about the game.
There are so many ways for you to fight as Spiderman, you can pick people off with stealth, you can use the environment to get some kills or you can just fly in and brawl it out if your reflexes are fast enough. Personally, I don't like to stealth but in Spiderman i actively look to try and get some picks before enemies get alerted and I just duke it out. Spidey also has alot of gadgets at his disposal that normally result in one hit KOs but they have limited uses which forces you to improvise instead of relying on spamming that one gadget. He also has multiple suits with different skills to unlock that lets you customize how you play and how you look.

Boss fights, except the last few, are disappointing but alright. Everything about Combat earlier goes out the window because there's only one way to approach boss fights which is; swinging around, dodge their telegraphed attack, punishing and then phase 2 rinse and repeat. Alot of the bosses lose their 'flavour' because they are essentially the 'same' boss fight. The last few bosses follow this format as well but they are a lot more engaging and fun compared to the earlier bosses.

Level design and Open world,
Missions take place either in the Open World of Manhattan or closed off designed levels and these designed levels are so well made. They are big enough for you to do spidey stuff but also have such insane level of detail that they can be in another game all on their own. The Open world also has a similar level of detail with unique buildings and designs, windows have depth and you can peek in to see the contents of the rooms and there are people chilling on the rooftops that will call out to you if you swing past them.

Graphics:
I typically don't mention graphics but man, this game looks so good. From lighting based on the day and night cycle, to weather effects like rain splashing on your screen while swinging around, it looks spectacular. The Facial expressions and body animations are so well done that, paired with the amazing voice acting, they feel like real believable people and you can tell a lot about the characters from the most subtle cutscenes and interactions.

The 'bad' parts aren't deal breakers for me and Marvel's Spiderman is still a solid 8.5/10 to me. I can't wait for the Spiderman 2 to come to PC.
