As a fan of the Alien franchise I can say that I Love this game.
I'm one of those people that prefer the Horror aspect of the Alien rather than the Action. (But I still adore Aliens, the plot and the introduction of the Queen Alien and Marines >w<)
I feel the Alien is a monster that should be feared and respected
And that's something this game introduces pretty well, respect for the Alien.

On Alien Isolation, you can't go all guns blazing and parkour your way through the game. Especially on Nightmare - which I adored playing, the tension was real hehe - The Alien will destroy you at your first mistake and will learn from you throughout the game. Hiding is only a temporary option, the more time u stay on one spot, the more the Alien will be convinced of your location.

In terms of the plot I did enjoyed it a lot. I would never have thought I would play as the daughter of the iconic Amanda Ripley c: Wished I could have seen the Alien Queen >.< The different gadgets and weapons we get throughout the game are amazing and they each serve a purpose. I can't wait for the release of this game sequel.
In all my play through I didn't encounter any game breaking glitches or bugs.
The music and atmosphere are amazing. Makes u feel like we are back in the Nostromo x3
And there's also so much to read. I always enjoy a good lore and what is going on with the people involved. Gives it a feel of authenticity.

The DLC's are amazing too. I honestly suck at Safe Heaven lul. But they give us a different view of what's going on aboard Sevastopol.

Overall I give this a 9/10
Music and Atmosphere: 10/10
Combat: 8/10
AI: 9/10
Horror: 9.5/10
Plot and Lore: 10/10

Luv ya Ripley <3
