Direct sequel to P5 base game, but in musou style. Game is incredibly awesome, but it has crashed quite a few times, making me lose decent progress (7 crashes, with 30-40min progress loss every time). I`d advise you to constantly save your game as to avoid getting messed up.
Feels like coming back home.

Long story short: This game needs 6 months minimum. Key things just don't work. Buggiest and most unstable "released" Early Access game i've ever played.

Gameplay isn't that bad, but not having animation cancelling makes it feel sluggish at best and terrible at worst. Story is relatively short, though you and me both know that's not why we play ARPGs. Endgame is a pseudo variant on D3 Rift system, with an extremely limited amount of tilesets and enemy archetypes, making it feel not very good. Game is also extremely unbalanced towards some specific archetypes (summoners are complete garbage, magic can work but just play 2handed melee and obliterate everything), though i guess that can be fixed in the future. Regardless, seems like 50% of the skill tree simply doesn't work.
Game has crashed 5 times in 20 hours, once in every act and twice in the endgame. Running a non-oc 1080 with a ryzen 1700 at max specs. Certain items have missing visuals/incomplete implementations, while other messages reference files instead of actual text. Visual bugs and missing hitboxes are also reasonably frequent.

The game has potential, however it is very clear, with the incoming ARPG competition that currently exists, and the ones that are soon coming, that the developers chose to release to at least try and grab a piece of the pie. It attempts to sit in the middle ground between D3 and PoE, but as is right now, it is simply not worth the purchase. If you do, understand you're paying for a "beta test".

I'll revisit this in 6-12 months. Hopefully by then, I can go through a game session without crashing, and not being able to generate infinite gold by simply moving items in my inventory,

It's pretty good, as long as you immerse yourself in the story and are interested in the characters.
At the very least, try it out, for the absolutely incredible soundtrack's sake.
