The Blizzard to Steam account migration deleted my old Digital Deluxe Edition ($108) and character. Your money is not safe with Bungie. Your time is not respected by Bungie.

I'm baffled by how common bugs and exploits are in such a full-loot PvP game. The game has been out for long enough for bugs to be ironed out and they are not being ironed out. On an Official Server, AI should not stop working and leave all of the most valuable loot free to take. Unacceptable amount of bugs. Don't waste your time.

The first day that I got Northgard, I stayed up until 6 am.
The second day that I got Northgard, I stayed up until 5 am.
This is a good game.

Do not delete your local game files after you beat the game! Steam, unlike with every other game I have played on Steam, does not save your progress beyond your local files. It doesn't take up very much space.

Why do I jump straight to after you beat the game? Because it's pretty good and you should play it. I got it on sale and was very pleased with it.
Oh, and buy some friends to play with you. It's really only co-op.

Early Access Review

Description: If you liked Killing Floor, Left Four Dead (& 2), or other squad-based zombie shooter games, try it out. The leveling system is rewarding both early and late game. The improvements from Killing Floor 1 are obvious and vast, but enough has stayed the same so that zeds are recognizeable and have similar mechanics (for now).

There are certain big balancing issues right now, but a good team composition with good communication can get through the high difficulties if they are higher level. Lots of room to be challenged as the difficulties go very high.

Berserker:
Wield the melee weapons, go fast, do damage, have damage resistance.
Your role will be dealing with the dangerous Scrakes (chainsaws) after they enrage. You will stumble (stun/interrupt) them so that they can't attack while we kill them. You have unique grenades with special mechanics. You will probably be the first to die.

Commando:
Wield the Rifles, do lots of damage, see enemy health bars, see cloaked stalkers.
Your role will be killing most of the things and being a large amount of the damage that goes into Flesh Pounders and Scrakes. You need to be able to accurately and consistently get headshots and call out enemy health as needed.

Support:
Wield the Shotguns, do damage, carry ammo for the rest of us, weld doors when needed, high grenade damage, offtank
Your role will be non-healing support. Carry ammo for us, knockback scrakes when needed, weld doors when needed. You have some of the best grenades. You will probably be the second one to die.

Field Medic:
Wield the medic weapons, go fast, high survivability, low damage
Your role will be to heal (and repair) the teammates especially the berserker, throw grenades at tactical times. Knowing when to heal, when to kill zeds, and when to throw grenades will be key.

Alien Swarm is a tactical squad-based survival game with a decent progression system. The roles in it are: Leader, Medic, Tech, and Special Weapons. The loadouts are limited. The options can feel endless. Some areas are dark. Some areas are harmful. Some aliens are harmful. Some aliens are REALLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HARMFUL. There are also certain elements in it that require Medics and Techs. When someone dies, they stay dead until after everyone alive gets to extraction or everyone dies. It can be very easy to die. Simply being serperated in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ spot can lead to being surrounded in a corner while reloading and a very quick and painful death. Some say being eaten alive is a rare delicacy in some cultures. Others say that that is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and being eaten alive is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrifying. Anyways, Alien Swarm is free to play.

Want a good idea of whether or not you'd like this game? Think Call of Duty with a slightly more mature community and everybody has built in wall hacks. Seriously, press a button and you can see where everyone is! A perfect solution to what happens in many other FPSs: camping. No longer can you sit in a corner and shoot everybody who passes across a threshold! The wallhacks don't last forever, so make sure to move if you want to keep your location moderately secret and everchanging! The guns are on a system sort of like APB; many of them have time limits. Whether the time limit is one day or several weeks, there are few guns without time limits! There also is a lot, and a lot of customization (but nobody said that very much of the customization is free!).

Looks a lot like Diablo 3, but it is a lot more versitile. A great free to play game, it allows for whatever mixed up combinations you want! You want to shoot a bow, summon zombies, and use several different auras? Sure thing! There are nearly endless builds to have fun with! A single campaign that you can join a party or invite your friends can be experienced in several different difficulties. Rewards change and moster gather their strength as the difficulty increases!

A great team vs team game! Both teams have vastly different playstyles! Each team has a commander, which can be a whole different playstyle! An RTS where your units are other people! A FPS where you have a commander guardian angel! Simply take orders and follow others until you're ready to lead a small squad of marines or a pack of skulks as you hunt for resources and the other team!
