99 hours on record and counting. How can I not recommend this game? It's so addictive and time consuming you will easily spend hours and hours without realizing it. Every civilization is unique in that it has it's own strengths and weaknesses througout the game and it's own preferred win conditions. Whether it's in the early game or very late game, you should always be using your civilization's strengths! That being said,the game never ties you down to a specific win condition. The amount of playable civilizations,maps and scenarios in the base game are enough to keep you playing for a very long time. The only real issue I have is that if your empire gets big enough, you will likely have to be giving units orders every single turn and it can be frustrating. Also, despite having a good enough PC to run it at high settings, the game can stutter occasionally, however, these are minor inconveniences that do little to prevent my enjoyment of the game. 9/10.
