Now that the Double action free expansion is out i can't not recommend this, it was a game changer for me.

I cannot recommend this game enough. not only is it a perfect entry game for people who wanna start shmups. It's also a fantastic game in general for seasoned shmup players. May you attain enlightenment

Worth it for the content to price ratio alone, ♥♥♥♥ tons of weapons and equipment and skills to the point you'll basically not run into the same item and skill set in two runs unless you're going out of your way with dice. Game makes you adapt to what's given to you and so far every run i've played even the lost ones were lost due to a skill issue.

Great arcade style roguelike HEAVILY recommend if you like twinstick shooters or bullet hells!

57 hours over the course of like a week... This game is actual peak and i'm just starting postscript.

Story? One hell of a rollercoaster in a good way
Gameplay? Very good and combat is like popping bubblewrap once you get stronger but the game has a lot of grind, do not forget about the massive Grow board
Music? Very good
Visuals? Character portraits are extremely well done, the overall visual experience though is gonna really depend on how much you like skeleton based animation. I don't mind it so i like it

If you like JRPGs play this. Take this from someone that doesn't play a lot of them and still sunk 57 hours (at the time of writing) into it without a single regret

This game made an era but in its current state don't even consider touching it until valve does something

Also for all intents and purposes this is actually two games in one, singleplayer and coop are so different in terms of mechanics and gameplay that it warents that imo, both are extremely good in their own right and the difficulty hits right. When on multiplayer though some form of communication is encoraged

Golgotha incident aside, you will die, you will have fun, heavily recommend the game.
