The last few updates to the game have made it miserable to progress in, the base game is still wonderful but when players don't even want to log in to progress in your f2p game you have a major issue.

A month later, and things still haven't really gotten better. Theoretically we should be getting more new cards but that hasn't really materialized. Game still feels bad to progress in on a day to day basis when the only major drops are weekly* and with a random chance, necessitating saving up 4 to guarantee you a new card.

Pretty good f2p experience if you know what you're doing.
Biggest downside is you're playing Yugioh.

Do i love the game? Yeah, its pretty fun. High aesthetic 1-bit rpg with compelling art, encounters and storylines.


However, after 6+ months of radio silence, and nearly a year since the last update I have to recommend against buying the game unless its on sale.

Very fun experience, the game is a beauty to look at, play, and listen to.
It's a bit short so don't go into it expecting a really long metroidvania.

This isn't a bad game, it just desperately needs some qol updates. It's been nearly a year now since the game launched and the qol updates that were promised in November 2019 haven't happened.

It feels like the game has been left to rot, I can't recommend it.
