One of the best digital card games ever made, gameplay wise. Games are fast, decks are consistent, and the rng usually feels fair. Too bad the card acquisition system is truly terrible for newer players.

There's no way to effectively target cards for a deck you want to play other than just wait a month for the next free series 3 card rotation. You could be waiting weeks or months for that series 4 or 5 card to appear in a spotlight week, or it could never be in one and you'll have to spend months worth of tokens on it.

Players have been promised fixes for this for a year and a half~ and nothing has materialized. It didn't used to be this bad.

Such a shame to let an amazing game flounder like this.

Pretty good f2p experience if you know what you're doing.
Biggest downside is you're playing Yugioh.

Do i love the game? Yeah, its pretty fun. High aesthetic 1-bit rpg with compelling art, encounters and storylines.


However, after 6+ months of radio silence, and nearly a year since the last update I have to recommend against buying the game unless its on sale.


Edit: GAMES NOT DEAD buy it.

Very fun experience, the game is a beauty to look at, play, and listen to.
It's a bit short so don't go into it expecting a really long metroidvania.

This isn't a bad game, it just desperately needs some qol updates. It's been nearly a year now since the game launched and the qol updates that were promised in November 2019 haven't happened.

It feels like the game has been left to rot, I can't recommend it.
