A truly underrated gem, I understand that when it came out on PS4 all those years ago it was a disaster full of bugs and people were expecting a lot more. However, for some reason Sony decided to port it to PC, and I am truly grateful they did, since as of now I firmly believe it to be the best open world zombie game out there. Very well optimized port too.

The world is beautiful, yet full of freaks, not only dead but very well alive too. The first time I gathered enough courage to take on a horde I felt goosebumps all over my body until I managed to kill the last one of those freakers, and boy did it feel great. The survival feeling this game emanates is unreal.

While the story leaves you with a desire for more, it has a nice conclusion and plot twists here and there that make it really interesting. If I recall correctly they had plans for a second one (due to this a few story-lines have open endings), however they cancelled it, which is a shame because I'm sure it would have been a great sequel with so many things that could have been done and story to be expanded.

This game will always have a special place in my heart. Definitely recommended.
