An excellent experience so far, Really feels like im playing the old Stalker games again. Once the performance is fixed I can see this as one of the best games of 2024. Currently there is a mod on Nexus that fixes performance completely for me out in the wilds, however my game still grinds to a halt when entering towns. Cant wait for a few more patches, Good job GSC

Honestly, I really wanted to love this game, ive been following the development of the game for over a year now, and was so happy to hear it was coming out today. I don't usually write steam reviews but this game is insulting.

I played this game in the VR version and it was nearly unplayable.
The lag was immense, my character would move seconds after button input.
No tutorial, you are simply dropped into the world without any idea what to do or how to even open your main menu.
Awful combat, My little village totem spawned beside a bunch of endlessly respawning level 10 bandits that would keep killing me, when I wasn't already falling through the floor.
Some of the menu UI is even still in Chinese , like seriously?
The amount of times menus softlocked on me and I had to reset my game over and over.

I get that this is a new game, but this hardly even feels like they tried. This game should have stayed in development for so much longer, it really needs it. I still want this game to do well, so i'll keep checking back with it every few months, but until they fix all the issues, this game is honestly unplayable.

Can't recommend this game enough, tons of fun to boot up for a bit to shank some people.
Be sure to check out the mods for this game, they can add even more hours of enjoyment.
