I enjoy spending time with this game because of the community that surrounds it.
The solo dev is currently hard at work, constantly adding new ways to waste your time.
I try not to keep the game open while I'm not actively engaged in the few attentive elements, but it's become the game with the most playtime on my profile, and that's a hard feat to accomplish.

This is like no other game on the planet. Nothing comes close to the raw power this game bestows upon its player. Played the OG on ArmorGames.com back in the day, and I've never played a better TD game since.

Grind, grind, grind. That's the name of the game, and I'm here to tell you that it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Everything you do in this game is slow and grindy as !#@$%. Just when you think you've made some progress and unlock some new window, dialog box, or panel tab, it's just more of the same grind as before. Only this time, it's even more progressively slower than the one before.

The game is an unnecessarily complicated mess. There are things to do. And by things, I mean push buttons. You push these buttons, and you push those buttons. You see more buttons pop up on screen, and guess what? You can push those too.

To put a bit of all this into perspective: let's say you need 10 of a currency in order to push that button. At a rate of earning said currency at .000000000000000000000001 per second, you should be able to get there in no time! Because, "It is very important that these values are not at 0..." Also, anything that is not directly a button, is based on a 24+ hour timer. That leaves you with nothing else to do but wait.

So, go grab a cup of coffee, boot up your favorite never-ending playlist, and sit back. You're going to be be here for a while... a long while.

It's a bare-bones Super Smash clone with very limited abilities, characters, and items. You need to have IRL friends within the vicinity because there's no single player campaign, nor any integration of AI opponents. If you're a solo gamer like myself, this isn't for you.

I guess I'm just not that into simulator games. However, I've tried my hand at a handful recently, and this is by far the best made and quality experience I've had so far. I don't know the first thing about repairing cars, let alone cars in general, but I found this laid out simple enough to enjoy a topic I'm not that interested in.

It's a good thing this game doesn't have achievements to make my OCD brain play until the very end because this game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece.

The distance between jump gaps are say 10 meters. You have to be on the exact edge of the first platform, mind you don't fall off, to just barely make it to the next because your jump distance is also 10 meters. If the next platform is raised above you, then it's even more of a challenge.

I made it to about level 4 when instead of going from left to right, you have to go from top to bottom. That's where the game becomes a nightmare because of you just randomly dying in mid air moments after your foot leaves the edge for no apparent reason. I couldn't figure out why, so when I eventually lost all my lives and was sent back to the very beginning of the game, not the level, that's when I decided to call it quits.

And before I forget, the so called "Catchy Soundtrack" is from everyone's good buddy Kevin MacLeod.

Not going to lie. I was constantly falling asleep while attempting to play Arctico. For me, it was just boring, vast, and empty. The random beeps and tones from the background audio wasn't helping either. The playtime is probably from getting a full 8 hours rest from sleeping in my chair.

I've happen to notice its come a little ways since I played. An official 1.0 launch coming out of early access, but still looks relatively more or less the same as it did before. The only think I'll give the developers credit for is their motivation to finally finish their game after 6 or so years (2014) instead of leaving it abandoned in early access.

Undeniably still one of the best atmospheric puzzle games on the market. Every time I play a more recent game, I just keep thinking to myself, "Man, I sure miss my first experience with Antichamber." It's been almost 10 years since I've played it, so I might finally be able to have a fresh go at it again.

Even when one of the 20+ ambient tracks from the game makes its way onto my personal video game playlist, thanks to Siddhartha Barnhoorn, I can't help but close my eyes and picture myself back as a younger, more inexperienced puzzle solver. With over 2.5 hours of mesmerizing harmonics, the songs make a great addition to my sleep and meditation routine.
