Team Fortress 2 is quite the game to discuss. On one hand, as pointed out by Funke, the learning curve is ♥♥♥♥♥♥. You have to watch videos and discuss the game if you want to get any good. That might sound like something that's a small gripe and that's because it is. On the whole I love TF2. I puts you in the mind of a psychotic, expendable (spelt wrong I know), and eccentric mercenary in war like setting. The environments I have to complain also are a bit samey as you play longer and longer but the colorful cast of charcters make up for it. I like how Valve puts mechanics over everything else though. Another gripe I have also is that there's no music built into the game, but that is an easy fix with youtube now-a-days. I'm not to sure about what the theme of the game is and might have to look it up, and if there is it gets kind of muddied in the mechanics. That might be because of the mind set of a "gamer" I have built into my brain, and that might actually what this game caters to. Apart from lore that is built up by comics and videos, no story or narrative is brought up other and the characters are kind of there just to contribute to the feel of the game, and that's amazing in my opinion. Just like music or a painting, games don't necessarily have to be about a theme or message. And what makes this game such a game is that it, in my opinon, encourages fantasy and exploration of roleplaying, which I never thought I could get into. Sorry for this being long winded and perhaps pertentious, but that's just me I guess.

Get Lisa instead. Dumb alien idea.
