I originally beat this game around when it first came out and it was something that I never truly stopped thinking about even after almost 4 years since Omori's launch. I decided to revisit it in 2024 to get the True Ending (as I do not have the heart to do any of the bad or neutral endings) and it reminded me why I fell in love with this game. It made me cry on my first playthrough and despite it not even being that long ago since I first played it, I had thick nostalgia all throughout my replaythrough, I could remember exactly how I felt 3 years ago going through everything for the first time. This game has fun gameplay, amazing OST, charming visuals/characters and an emotional roller-coaster of a story.

As with most things when they get too popular, it starts to become "hip" or "cool" to hate on it; As I've seen in recent years, people who have never played Omori like to say it's just another dime-a-dozen "Earthbound inspired RPG" but there is so much more to this game than it's RPG elements. I think everyone has to play this game, preferably leaving behind anything they have heard about this game at the door and going in completely with no expectations.

Masterpiece. I haven't enjoyed a game this much in so long.
