So, here's the deal. I enjoy this game, but I can already tell you it's not for you if you haven't immediately bought in. This game is exactly what it looks like. It's a painfully simple hack-and-slash game that frankly BARELY constitutes as a roguelike that's also PAINFULLY lacking in content. It also just so happens to have a DBD coat of paint with the characters and intractables, but that's it. The world and enemy design are generic eye hell demons and the bosses are just souped of versions of the normal baddies.

I will say that the building blocks of a good game are here! It just needs more. More characters, abilities, enemies, QOL, EVERYTHING really. I think this game lives or dies on if BHVR comes back to it and decides it needs more than 3 characters and 8 enemies. Also the ability to look down a full 90° PLEASE.

I enjoy this game. It's simple and repetitive but still feels like I'm doing something, and the multiplayer is a good time if you can find someone else who wants to just turn their brain off and shoot demons as DBD characters with no real obstacles for 20-40 minutes at a time. But that's the thing. This game is JUST that. Nothing else. 20-40 minutes to mindlessly sink per session with no real challenge.

If this game is worth $5 to you knowing that, then get it! Like I said at the start, if the trailer look like something you'd like, then you'll probably like it! I'd understand dog, I'm the flavor of autism where I ALSO need some colorful lights to stimulate myself with from time to time. Game also needs a friend pass though. I couldn't ask someone else to spend money on this and, while I could spend $5 myself to gift it... I could also gift them something with actual substance for the same price. 100% OJ or something.

I will say I got this game for "free." Free means BHVR gets to sell my soul (personal information) to Google and whoever else but I already sold my soul to Amazon when I decided to stream on Twitch so. Eh. I don't know if they'll give out more keys if that sounds like a worthwhile trade but you're welcome to check.

As a killer main with plenty of time sunk into survivor as well. Yes, this game has its flaws. Yes, the game has periods of TERRIBLE balance where survivors were disgustingly overpowered. Yes, the game has periods where the killers wield that same power. Yes, the game has a terribly rigid meta. And yes, this game is host to one of the most outright toxic communities in any game I've played. Hell, I'd go as far a necrotic.
Still, this game is a lot of fun. If you stop worrying about other people or winning the game and just... enjoy the storytelling told through the gameplay and eb and flow of each match, it's great fun! Run whatever goofy perks you want and stop giving a ♥♥♥♥ and you'll usually have a good time.

Honestly, I love everything 'ol Ed has done. Still, this little bundle doesn't do him justice. It's a collection of some of his greatest flash games, and they all unlock little tidbits about the games themselves and other goodies that Ed has made like comics and sketches. I know I can play these flash games for free, but to have them all offline with extra content and support the creator, I'd love to throw down a little cash.

Everything set up for a great purchase, and then the lag hits. I don't know why, but for some reason, most of the games run at a slow frame rate. I don't see why this happens, seeing as I can run beautiful 3D games like Saints Row 4 and Overwatch at 30 FPS pretty solidly, and detailed 2D games Meatboy and Ittle Dew at 60 FPS easy! Sure, I don't have a super computer, but I don't have a dinky potato PC either! These little flash games shouldn't run this slow, and I KNOW they didn't online on Newgrounds. It's a little annoying for some, and unplayable for others. I think the only games I was able to get the original joy of in this program were Time ♥♥♥♥ and Grey Matter.

I'm glad I made the purchase for no other reason for the Ed tidbits and to support the guy, so I'd say buy if you want those too! If you're actually interested in the product, I think you'd have better luck buying one of Ed's full games or just hopping on Newgrounds to play the originals.

Y'know, I love this game. I hear it's a poor man's Overwatch, but having also sunk hundreds of hours into OW across both PC and PS4, I can still say Paladins is unique and fun enough to still come back to. I, like many others, am not a fan of the new pay-to-win card system. It's a cheap way to abuse the people who love the game and would make EA proud. I'm hoping they abolish it soon.

Still, it can be a fun and enjoyable game. Maybe just... stick to the "Classic Seige" mode though. It keeps all the cards levels at 4. It's still fun as all hell with that. I know I'm gonna keep playing, but only in there.

Hi-Rez, I still love and recommend your game. I will tell people to play, but I'll also tell them to stick to Classic Seige. Please listen to your fans and go back to the old card system. Everyone in the player base was happier then, I'm sure.

EDIT: Holy hell, they listened to their audiance and went back to the original card system! Thank you Hi-Rez! I can now recomend this game without a shadow of a doubt!
