Yeah, that'll be a hard refund for me. Hopefully in another 3 years this can be considered "Early Access" viable in my book... I just have too much E.A. crap akin to this in my library to subdue my feelings for this game. I reeeeeally want this game to be amazing, but in reality it just isn't there yet. At all.

This game is not at all ready for Early Access... This is more akin of an alpha, maybe a beta.

I cannot believe this took 3 years, and still has so much "clunk" in it. Including questionable gameplay choices, tons of death-bugs (like even in the tutorials, if you jump onto anything that makes the game freak out) as well as very poor perfomance.

I ran it on a 3080ti, i7-9700k and a high-speed (2 years ago) M.2 SSD. The FPS was all-over the place. Aywhere from low 20's to high 60's, avarage was ~40 fps with maximum quality (Look, there is a reason I bought a 3080, and I refuse to spend hours tweaking to find the culprit for this abysmal performance on 1080p@144Hz monitor). It also takes ~2 minutes every time the game decides to autosave. Manual saves take 30 seconds tho, for some reason...

Even turning off full-screen optimizations and overriding high-dpi scaling did not yeild any significant results, however I did experience less frame drops.

Considering the state of this, I am amazed the other reviews on this game are so positive... As I would argue, that this, exact type of game is my nieche genre. Not to mention how much acceptance I have shown in the past for E.A. games...

I would definetly recomend being very cautious with this one, if you mean to invest you hard-earned dollaridoos into this...

Thank you so much for everything so far, and everything to come! Cannot wait for the Sim update to drop! It is so heartwarming to see such passion for our small nieche in the sim genre, and the gaming genre as a whole these past years!

After giving this a shot, and watching 2,5 hours worth of guides and tips on youtube (more then the playtime, if you noticed), I just cannot recommend this. The building system is so clunky and unintuitive, unless this is exactly the game you have been looking for, and are willing to sink at least 50 hours learning the ropes via game-play and youtube, stay away.

When I bought the bundle with the old game, (that was somehow 40% cheaper then just RO), and saw some discussions and reviews detailing how the last game was abandoned when transitioning to RO, and the customers of last game got false advertising.

They seem to have been promised RO as a free expansion to the last game, American Railroads, however just before the release the devs seem to have changed their mind, and given them the 40% discount. (Same one I got when buying the bundle...).

I am not 100% sure, but by the look of the sheer amount of reviews I am not taking my chances. Be vigilant on this one...

The develop,emt is NOT dead. Been playing for a bit a few years back, before there was a "campaign" and not just sandbox mode, and can CLEARLY see, that the dev has worked his ass off, to create a propper campaign. Small bugs present, only with NPC's as I have noticed. And according to the frequent patch notes, it most definetly is in development.

Too bad that people do not respect devs that fix bugs first, before introducing new features... Considering how long the dev has been working on this tiny gem, I'll say the price is fair. However, be advised that this is still early access.

What a gem of a game, amidst the most dreadful decade for gaming. I cannot believe these TWO amazing devs have managed to craft a gameplay-loop that is more rewarding and addictive, then anything the AA and even the AAA industry have managed in the last ~10 years...

This game manages to create a JOURNEY, NOT a grind. Too many developers have missed the mark badly, in this delicate dance. But this game sikes the BULLSEYE on the pacing, which makes you almost completely oblivious to the shortcomings of this title.

I have my eyes still GLUED to the screen, at ~20 hrs in. Taking my first bites into the games' juicy late mid-game mechanics, and still maintain extremely high engagement level for such a "small" indie title. I CANNOT WAIT for MORE! And I know I will be so sad, when I finally transform this ball of hell, into an Oasis of life, yet I see...

Just half a year into the project the devs are coming with MORE ludicrous terraforming goals, now.

I can only wonder... How far can we take the idea of what a fully terraformed world will look like...

I sure hope, that the uncontested idea of the ultimate life-forms, being synthetic can somehow creep it's way in, to this diamond of a game... Then. The possibilites will TRULY be endless...

Absolute gem of an indie game, with a great dev team behind it :)

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage for what you get. Insane that they will charge 12 dollars for a crap ass premium in a full-priced game, considering the bugs and frequent crashes (2-3 times a day).

I do enjoy the game... But when they add premium dung like 1'st, just to get a NORMAL inventory, i just cannot thumb this up in ANY way, shape or form.

And yeah private worlds are cool... I guess? Mostly used as bonus loot, and a safe ammo factory/fusion core farm afk... Not really worth, since this is a pretty peaceful community for newcommers.

YES, the hype is true.
YES, you will abandon your life.
And yes... This is as close as you can get to a well-running, 40k herasy-purging simulator.

8/10, buy it, even if you have to starve for a day.

No, seriously... It's because of poor perfomance.
3080ti, i7-9770K and the game starts slowing down time when you fall below 144 FPS with V-Sync, and with V-Sync off it's at least twice as bad.


I do not need 144 FPS in a top down shooter. All I need is 60. My hardware can take the hit easily, but there is no setting to change when the game starts to slow down time.

The only workarround i found is to force your screen to run at 60 Hz through GPU Control Panel, which works pretty well but this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying.

Seems like abandonware. Steer clear. Development abandoned since early 2020, and Dev branch (the branch you need to download to play with mods) is completely broken, and previous dev branches are unavalable for download via the game launcher.

Sad, since vanilla does not even have sounds for shooting the damn guns... Wow...

It's been over 5 years since i've seen such a damn good game.
