For a game about making you run and gun. They really love punishing you for getting hit. It is like they remembered trauma damage from back 4 blood and was like "yeah, I think more games need this"

Certainly, steps above it's (super early) demo exhibition. The balancing is just off. Very good upgrades like dashing heals only 5%? Never tried it online, but I can definitely it is still performing well even under proton which might be out of their hands but compared to something like ror2, It still runs like a dream.

I have no idea what they have done to this game. I used to be able to play for at least 4 hours when in early access but now it has released and crashes more often. I see just how I am treated. Then again, when I played it before I was on windows. whatever, it's nearly unplayable now even with higher specs than before. Make that make sense.

Base game has been ruined for many. If you don't play with some artifacts that help gameplay and reduce randomness it is ehh, for the most part many game bugs have been introduced as well as strange design decisions. (that's dlc only)
They have decided to use the port of the game hated by the playerbase and merge it to production. Things like playing coop on a save with more than 400 hrs will delete your save. Even attempting to play the game makes it not even start. Personally, I still find the game enjoyable but gearbox has ended up removing and breaking many things in the game where downpatching is even being talked about.

I have taken the time to beat this game so I feel confident in saying this game is kinda boring. All you really do is just go from hallway to hallway and shoot the aliens. I was kinda hoping at least for something a little more. Most you can really do is grind to get more skills to grind even faster or make the game slightly easier in some aspects like a 20% faster reload (really).

Have not played the updated version but it is insanely grindy. You need a absurd amount of nails to even start building. I feel I could try again but it's hard even on it's easiest setting.

Made the mistake of buying it just to be pranked out of 15$
I wanted to see how mediocre the missions were but I guess the joke is on me they never tested this ♥♥♥♥ out. F|_|ck you blizzard.

Edit: Today it worked for some reason. Still leaving this a negative as it's not really worth 15$ maybe just seeing the cutscenes and reading the literal text maessages (lol ig) but it is not even worth replaying imo. (forgor to turn on comments xd)

Classes are just wildly unbalanced. What do i mean? Swordsman doesn't attack as strong as a ranged character. There's this one character that trivializes a certain type of enemy (the class is spell caster)
Design is all over the place.
Litterally only fun with other people since it's rather dull.

It's kinda retarded that when I close my steam deck for a while it says I lost connection to the server so I have to start from the last save when I pick to play offline. You kinda don't need a internet connection to a server when you're offline. Kinda defeats the purpose of selecting offline.

I'll write more when I play more I guess.
