If you enjoyed HL:A, but found it lack luster, this is the game for you. I'm only around half-way done with the game (on hard) with a couple hours of AFK time and I'm really enjoying (almost) every second of it.

It's pretty similar in tone to the post-portal valve games, and is loaded with a lot of silly easter eggs that'll make any enthusiast of gaming blush.

Combat and interactions are absolutely top notch, this is very much a contender for a VR GOAT, and easily stands as one of the best "indie" games I've played.

I'll list off some criticisms to be fair.
The voice acting, and animation of a lot of the characters isn't quite up to par with the rest of the game.
There's a certain hitscan attack on one of the bosses (in crucible) that feels pretty unfair on hard difficulty, because of this and a couple other scenarios, i'd recommend playing on medium unless you're OK with some steep difficulty spikes.
It's pretty easy to be looking for secrets and accidentally progress the game to a point where you can't turn back and it isn't shy to auto save.

High 8/10

Great foundations, if you're into a game for the long haul this is a great VR tactical shooter.

My only complaint: nothing in the game requires you to have a team, every map(which are rather limited) are reliably doable with one person.

look no further for a high realism processed meat simulation.

Counter-Strike : with a toaster strapped to your face.

It only took me 12 hours to get past the game's first real challenges.
