Masterful story. Great soundtrack.

That feel when you're on to some real big expansions of a good empire and a ruler that is loved by all is replaced with a craven, arbitrary 6 year old child who's weak because your first in line dies in battle.

That feel when the regent is replaced by a family member who wants your titles and is an unmovable -100 opinion

That feel when your glorious empire that you spend hours growing crumbles into rebellion and disarray.

10/10 would rage and cry at again.

Orginally I would of laughed at the idea of buying this game, now it seems like a bargain for the hours I've put, and will continue to put into this game. Starting from the bottom, working jobs for other companies whilst leveling your skills and gaining money in your coffers you eventually get to a point of buying your first truck to start your own company. Amazing to play and either watch something on another screen or listen to some music and enjoy the relaxing rides.

Short version: Absolute masterpiece.

When I first played CaveStory I expected nothing going into it and never gave it a chance, giving up within 5 minutes only a year later to pick it up again. If only I could go in a time machine and tell myself what a fool I was for putting down what would become one of my favorite games of all time. Heart touching story with multiple endings, a brilliant soundtrack and a learning curve that never seems too steep. Very reminicent of games of old that were considered masterpieces of their time.
