Good game!

It's mostly focused on gameplay and has a semi-decent story. The gameplay is interesting and unique enough that its enjoyable. My only issue with the gameplay is that the slowmo/freezing is super jaring (I don't think that could be fixed though).

The game is short but it has replay value (Different kill methods and such).

Fun game to play with friends! It is a bit laggy at times and It is a short game but has tons of replay value.

This game will get a proper review when it stops getting weird messages in the patch notes.

This is a pretty awesome puzzle game that has a lot of charm to it.

The game isnt too hard when it comes to the puzzles, the real challenge lies in controlling your drunk little construction worker. Tasks like Driving, Boating, Wiring things, Climbing, and Moving objects are harder drunk forsure.

It's even more enjoyable with the addition of being able to play with friends! & They keep updating the game with awesome/creative maps!

I recommend getting the game just be aware that for some people the camera bobbing leads to slight motion sickness over a long period of time!

This game is "Survival Multiplayer" done 100% right.


The paper drawn art style with its muted colors are visually outstanding and they give off uniquely gloomy atmosphere that is reminiscent of Tim Burton films. The music is excellently on point with its tone always at the right level no matter the situation. The compelling and unique sound design of each of the characters and creatures elevate the players overall listening experience.


The game has a simple concept. Don't starve (basically don't die). There is a decently big but actually simple crafting system in the game that anyone can become an expert at. Along with that there is a wide range of unique characters (Their are currently 11 Wanilla characters haha get it....all their names start with W in some form and thousands of modded ones) with different abilities (Werebeaver, Fire starter, Haunted by dead twin, etc) and weakness' (Afraid of the dark, Can't eat veggies, Damaged by water, etc).

They all have simple base needs of Hungry, Sanity, and Health that are balanced with their Abilities & Weakness'. There is a borderline insane Day & Night cycle and Season cycle. Day is relatively safe compared to night time were if you are not by a light source Charlie (the night monster) will murder you. All of this and more makes the game a riot to play by yourself and especially with friends.


You can play co-op with people or verse them or both (Friends & Strangers). Every server is a unique world that was or wasn't adjusted before hand to make it harder, easier, crazier, or etc. You can adjust Weather, Day & Night Cycle, Seasons, Spawn rates of Mobs, and much more. Every world and game session feels completely different because of these options along with the other factors.


The game has been around for almost 3 years (started in early access in 2014 then released in 2016) and game is still very actively played for two main reasons (other then it being a genuinely fun game). The game is always getting content updates small and big that enhance or add to the gameplay experience (and balance it) for free.

Along with these updates there is a massive and I mean massive modding community that is passionate about this game and is always making epic new mods (or updating older ones). Everything from Characters, Items, Modes, to UI and more have been modded in or adjusted, and/or recreated by the modding community. Mods are optional but they are the icing on the cake.

Overall:

I recommend this game to everyone.

This game is really fun and definitely has that old RTS feel (in the good way) but with way more polish.

This game is really cool and super creative. I do wish the tutorial was way more in depth.
