This has quickly become one of my favorite games. Of all time. The depth is unspeakably amazing. The customization, even more so. This is one that has replayability for literal years in it. If you buy only ONE game this year, make it this one and you will not regret it.

An interesting and quirky little Pool/Adventure game that can totally be played casually. Adult Swim, so it's not something that takes itself seriously. Just some good ol fun here. Plug in a controller and give it a go!

I found this game to actually be very enjoyable. Unlike a straight idler/clicker type game, you really do need to pay attention to what you're doing. Just like in real life, your debt never stops! What's that? You paid it off? That's great. Enjoy that feeling, for it will be a fleeting one.....

A really fun and incredibly addicting little game that's definitely worth a few bucks. It's a lot like life in that even if you're going along well, random stuff happens from out of left field and you gotta deal with it. Give it a shot!

A lot of fun to play around with, replayable too. I don't do many VN's, but this is a true gem on steam. Go get it already!

Lack of proper translation has abosolutely killed this game for me. Which is something I have NEVER had an issue with, however it DIRECTLY impacts gameplay in an extremely negative way. This game simply needed a little tightening up in the editing department and it could have been a decent game.

That being said, they apparently opted to do without an editor...IN A GAME ABOUT AN EDITOR!!!!!!

I strongly urge the Dev team to please fix this mess, as there is likely a good game hiding underneath. It has taken the aewsome mechanics from Her Story and made them impossible to enjoy due to piss poor editing and not only that, they made it cost more than the better game as well. Sorry, this is a NO BUY until it is given the proper care in editing it deserves.

Numbered Rating: 10/10 and a MUST buy, IMHO.

Most of you who have taken part in my streams know I have one particular game that is pretty much my rival. A game in which I have managed to log upwards of 70+ hours of gameplay yet still cannot defeat the Boss at the end of the 2nd level.

This is basically the Dark Souls of Match-3 games. The game is a little gem known as Ironcast. At first glance it’s an intriguing little Match-3 game. There are 4 colored tiles that you need to match up as you would in most games from this genre. However that is where the similarities between Ironcast and a typical Match-3 game end. Ironcast takes this mechanic and turns it into something very fascinating. Each of these tiles called Nodes, that you collect actually represent something specific. You have Purple for Ammunition, Orange for Energy, Blue for Coolant and Green for Repair. These Nodes are your resources for carrying out your mission. As it slowly unfolds before you the story is one of war. Your soldier and their Ironcast are our last hope to survive. Something has been unleashed. I’d rather not spoil the story, as watching it unfold is another incredible part of this game. Each round allows for the player to pick between three different battle locations that are somewhat randomly generated to help progress the storyline. There are 3 basic mission types. Battle is exactly as it sounds it’s you versus another Ironcast in a battle to the death. Collection adds a fifth node to collect that is a crate which typically represents cargo or even manpower that will aid in your long war. A typical Collection mission will have you collect around 10 of these crates. The last of the common missions is Survival. In Survival you’re merely tasked with surviving so many turns to win the mission. These are my least favorite and tend to be the most boring and least rewarding anecdotally speaking. Occasionally you may get tossed an odd trade mission where you must pick and choose your dialogue carefully in order to succeed. These Trades are randomized so the same answers will not always work.

As you complete your missions, you earn experience, gold and item blueprints which can be used to upgrade your own Ironcast. Spend wisely as not all upgrades are enough of an upgrade to be worthwhile. Likewise as you level up you will be allowed to select additional perks for your Ironcast like abilities or augmentations for either your weapons or your defensive systems. Your Ironcast is fitted with 2 weapon systems. Drives are for evasion and shields for armor. As you learn the in’s and out’s of the game you will learn how to tailor your Ironcast to your gameplay style. With equal parts rogue-like/rogue-lite, Match-3 and RPG, this creates an entirely unique and engaging experience that I feel a majority of the gaming public has missed out on.

The only time I have EVER asked Steam for a refund.

Look at my library. This is NOT something I do. The game was quite literally unplayable for me. There was a menu error that occured, and it's on Twitch for anyone to see if they'd like. I have never run across something in this shape that wasn't listed as an Early Access title. Very frustrating. I would've bent over backwards to find good things about this title, surely.

Greetings fellow gamers!
This is Gamer Guy (In a Suit) back with a review for another indie title. This time we're going way back to the prohibition days, in an alternative-history story! Blues & Bullets is an Episodic Adventure a-la TellTale games. Blues and Bullets certainly brings it's own style to the emerging genre though, and seems to be building up into a pretty good game.

Video Review (Where I butcher the name?!?!):

(Press Copy/Serial Key provided via Dev/Publisher of Title)

My takeaways are as follows:

Positives-

+ Good immersion and set/background visuals
+ Fitting Soundtrack, also helps capture the era
+ Very engaging story
+ Plays out like a very good movie/show
+ A pretty fun Shoot-Out sequence!

Negatives-

- Character graphics are sub-par and frankly, a bit rough
- Camera is stiff in locations to essentially hide the ugly/non-existent parts of levels
- Lost my progress after upgrading from Episode 1 to Full Season (cry)

The camera thing bugs me, but only so very little and in certain scenes. Even that is a nit-pick. The character graphics could be better, that is not so much a nitpick. This, to me, is the only flaw to the game so far. That, and the fact that I have to start over because my save was erased after upgrading from just Episode 1 to the Entire Season. All in all, Blues and Bullets is a great story and will pull you in. Well worth the money.

Verdict:
9/10

Happy Gaming!

Early Access Review
Greetings fellow gamers!
This is Gamer Guy (In a Suit) back with a review for another indie title. This afternoon I shall be bringing youmy thoughts on Dreadbit Games' newest entry, Seraph. As a huge fan, and occasional streamer of their game Ironcast, they were gracious enough to allow me a sneak peek at Seraph and I livestreamed it the night before release.

Here is that stream and my inital impressions:
https://youtu.be/XSBEQ_ScMkM

My takeaways for this one:

Positives-

+ Challenging, yet very rewarding
+ LOVE the daily challenges so far, adds even MORE replayability
+ Amazingly smooth gameplay, especially for something that's in this early of a stage.

Negatives-

- I'm sorry, what? Oh. It's not done yet. I guess that's bad...but did you see that rodmap they laid out? Wow!

Easily a "Top 5 Current Early Accesss Games" already. Potential breakout gem from a fantastic studio.

Verdict:
9/10 (only 'casue it isn't finished. This is gonna be one Hell of a game!)

Greetings fellow Gamers!
This is Gamer Guy (In a Suit) back with a review for another indie title. Today I have brought along a neat little gem known as My Night Job. My Night Job can best be described as an indie-action game, but there are some neat little surprises along the way.

(Press Copy/Serial Key provided via Dev/Publisher of Title)

https://youtu.be/bmNYeVsrZjA

My takeaways are as follows:

Positives-

+ Not your average action game
+ Beat 'em Up meets Strategizing/Survival (Which makes for a grand combination!)
+ Very quickly paced, but easy to figure out what you're doing
+ Fun, Pixely Graphics without being "cheap"

Negatives-

- Repetitive Gameplay befitting Arcade-Style

I thought I was getting into your standard Beat 'Em Up, I ended up with a fun little action game that has elements of survival, horror an defense. Not only are you rescuing people from the house, but you are trying to save the floors of the house itself from being destroyed. Each room has health and everything. A lot of thought went into this and it shows. It ended up being more fun than I expected!

Verdict:
8/10

Happy Gaming!
