Best old-school MMO

Superb strategy game!

If you like fast action combat and Lord of the Rings, then this is your game.
Even in 2021, the graphics still hold up.

Granted, it has some bugs here and there, but overall its fine. Nothing more different than something out of Bethesda. Its tolerable.

It is an okay game. The combat was fun and the world was beautiful from time to time, but the story was pretty dull to be honest.

This is probably my most favorite fps ever.

Planetside 2 complements all styles of fps gaming such as close courter combat, mid range combat and long range combat.

The biggest problem I had with CoD is that sniping is really difficult because the maps are so small. In Planetside 2 the maps are so large that it can easily be seen as a sniper's wet dream.

The style of objectives are also great! Strategies are the key in capturing or defending a fortress or a lab. For example if I were a Inflitrator (Sniper) and I am planning on capturing a fortress I can easily sneak in, hack all the major turrets and hack some of the class stations then bring in a sunderer with a respawn utlity attached and park it relatively near the fortress or lab. Thus creating either an easy take over or a extreme combative zone where my faction would have the winning edge simply because I took the time to hack the enemy's turrets/stations.

There are 3 factions in Planetside 2,

The Vanu Sovereignty + High Accuracy/Recoil - Low Rate of Fire

The Terran Republic + High Rate of Fire - Low Damage per Shot

The New Conglomerate + High Damage per Shot - Low Rate of Fire

Each faction has it's specific benefits/disadvantages

The only complaint I have with this game is the store. If you want to buy a new gun from the store that isn't dreadful it would cost you up to a 1000 certs which you can get from accomplishing objectives or killing enemies or destroying their equipment. 1000 certs is extremely expensive and is not worth the time and effort just to get one gun without paying real life money. So I tend to puchase these guns with Station cash which costs real life money. The best time to buy station cash is during Sony's double or triple station cash events which usually occurs during week ends.

Overall it is a great game and it is worth giving it a try, after all it is free to play!
